A Rainy Hike To Anglin Falls - Kentucky - 9/24/24

Tuesday evening's rainy hike up to Anglin Falls with Cane.. After checking out Anglin Falls from the base of the falls, we hiked up to the large rock shelter behind the falls just as some heavy rain showers moved in.. We relaxed there for a few minutes, enjoying the sounds of the falls and some solitude before hiking back down and out to the trailhead.. We saw several salamanders along the trail, so it was a great evening out for a hike ✌️

As my little orange buddies get older they turn brown. The orange ones are in the juvenile stage (red eft). As adults they turn brown and become aquatic forming a fin like tail.
I guess that’s why the little orange buddies are always out after a good rain, getting ready for adulthood lol
