I regard this as one of the best cds I ever bought. Look at the tracks, they are all considered classics now. This era of Anjunabeats is very special.. I think most would agree
Exactly! I chased this CD down as a b-day present for my old music partner (trance and the like), but couldn´t find it, so i ended up buying him "Tiësto - In search of Sunrise" 2 Cd and gave him an excuse aswell :-) Met the guys from A&B later that summer on Ibiza and told them the same, which resulted in big smiles and some good laughs...
and 3 x tracks by super8 n tab say no more
The atomosphere , the story telling the trance that these tracks put me in during this era is unforgettable.

I felt the same way about ATB's DJ In The Mix 3 discs which came out circa same time era
Almost nothing comes close to this few year era of trance/EDM... Anjunabeats 4 through 6 even 7 were untouchable
I remember hearing Aalto's 5 for the first time and it absolutely blew my mind. Then I remember hearing, what I consider its spiritual successor, Buzz for the first time and my shit got lost that day. This era (2005-2008) was prime Anjunabeats and I miss it very much.

Basic perspective track is everything I think a trance track should be. It’s also hugely underrated. Really emotional track.

Classic album. Super8 & Tab were on another level, Keep On is a hidden prog house gem and Daniel Kandi Breathe was my favourite song for a few years. Sublime.
Back un 2010, when I discovered this vol, breathe was the track that made me feel in peace with the universe...

Thanks to the internet I have been able to listen to these records, I never bought a record, I think that the trance is still in force, only that it is not what it was long ago. and this particular album brings me nostalgia.
Man I miss this music 😢 Smith & Pledger forever.

The BEST mix: vols 1-9 are all amazing but 4 is my fav: its got aalto 5 which i think is the defining track of this whole melodic prog house/trance era, and the choice of where in aria E to bring it in to aalto 5 (like half way through the 9 min track) is such brilliant mixing!; what can u say except thnx A&B for bringing all this amazing music together
This CD got me into trance.
If Volume 4 was the warning flare, Volume 5 & Anjunabeats Worldwide 01 were the compilations that sealed the deal!
This CD was my first disk in collection of awesome music=) Now I'm buying every Anjunabeats/Anjunadeep issue as soon as it possible in my location.

This album is incredible for being 15 years old now! Its still my favorite, but it still sounds really great at 168 BPM (1.25x playback speed)
Tried this and can confirm that, yes, it is awesome at that speed - Amsterdam and Helsinki Scorchin' are insane at x1.25!
