Im a bit bummed for how little credit his amazing team has been given on all the media sessions
Listen to the happy hour podcast, the team get lots of praise and even appear on the show.
I've followed the journey from day one and think his team were amazing. However, let Russ have his moment!!. His team were paid for their work which a lot of people either don't realise, or forget. Not taking anything away from the work they've put in, but what Russ has done is nothing short of incredible and I'm so glad he's being recognised for it
He misspoke he meant he's raised over £870,000 for charity not £170,000.
What Charity?
@@irenedavo3768the running charity and sandblast. Theres more info on his social media and youtube channel
@@irenedavo3768 The Running Charity
@@irenedavo3768 Two of them.
@@irenedavo3768 2 , he has mentioned them a number of times in various interviews - take a look🐕🦺
Russ undersells himself so much! This guy is the true definition of grit and determination, pushed through every challenge and injury he faced with pure class!
Yes this man is truly " The Hardest Geezer"
Love that they included a clip of Gus running behind him with a machete in hand
Shame that his adventure on TH-cam wasn’t given this much attention - honestly the best 80 part series on the internet 😂
Absolute legend. I'm glad I went to Tunisia to run the last 42km with him. What an honour!
what's next 'icecream'! Such a classic.....honest, down to earth and I'm so glad to be able to follow this journey over the last year.
Amazing. What a legend... Followed it on TH-cam from day 1. Well done Russ and your amazing team (all played a huge part in it!!). Congrats!
Can he be 2024 sports personality of the year …. YES
Incredible human achievement.
The greatest endurance a human has ever completed. Well done that English man
not sure. people have cycled solo from london to sydney without a support team before
Am just admirative... A real Man with a big M
Wow. He should have raised £170 million. This should have been more publicised for the last year. First I heard was on Radio 2 last week.
he misspoke ive been following him a long time and it went from 170k a few weeks ago to 870k today. Hopefully he gets his million when his final vlog is released :)
I have my 50 quid ready when the final vid gets dropped
@@markfrancis3162why not donate now?

What Charity?

CONGRATS RUSS
Such a modest and humble and real person this HG guy is, after achieving the impossible. Well gone mate !
Russ Cook aka Hardest Geezer aka The Ginger Jesus aka Ten Toes & Tarmac. Absolute legend!
Russ looking like a wizard 😂
He's the Weasley to cameraman stans potter 😅
@@AuntyAwesome brilliant
the Forrest Gump comparison is scarily accurate
He looks like he came from the middle ages
Yeah, they call him 'Cook the Red' in wizardry world :D
What a legend
Actually inspiring
the hardest geezer? more like the humblest geezer
I've watched his channel from the start and never felt like starting to run, but something about this interview has inspired me. Can't quite put my finger on why 😂🤔
Good interviewer
What an amazing achievement, fabulous, I wished I’d known about it before, where’s my algorithm for that TH-cam
Go on russ 🎉
One word - Legend - a top geezer - inspiring-
Tough as they come that lad
Legendary human feat.

Hardest Geezer ! This dude was clean shaved this morning ....
Hero Geezer 👏
Is it bad that I'm more excited about him being from Worthing.
I see hardest geezer, i press like
Credit to everyone who gets out of their comfort zone.
Who wants we do this with different route
What a legend. So modest. Hope all this media coverage gets the total up to £1M.
Well now we can't say Gingers never did anything
We can with him
Proud to be British 🇬🇧

Man’s dad law gunna be insane 😂
Big fuckin G . All respect
The homeless-looking ginger runners are coming out of the woodwork. Beau Miles comes to mind.
That'd be an amazing collab!
And Sean Conway!
Just a pity that he rarely mention his team that assisted him - he wouldn't have made it without them.
He looks a lot like a guy we called "Beard-o"
"A really long run" lol good onya Russ.
He deserves all the credit he’s getting but I’m over these traditional media 10 minute plastic interviews, bring on the podcasts.
He should become a saint
He should keep the beard and hair. He looks wise now.
He looks a bit tired, wonder why
The movie rights alone will make him some good dough some day.
He's raised over a million pounds
Big fan of him now class guy
"I'm going to get a haircut, imminently"
What Charity?
English endurance athlete*
The tarmac didn't stand a chance.
Stomping while smashing that tarmac to pieces with them 1’s & 2’s. Congratulations Russ…The Hardest Geezer will be back in the future. Can’t wait and gutted it’s over for now. Until next time…peace bro.
“Thanks for having me…. Wicked”

Who is presenter
Why did she give the distance in Miles? Also eight hundred and seventy thousand pounds
Because we use miles in England
Thought that was Mia Khalifa for a second
Hahaha looks like someone you'd wake up and see while ur little english village gets raised by scottish raiders
Tormund?
@@lilme7052 lmao I think that's who I had in mind subconsciously🤣
Time for a makeover...
Good cut at the we didn't see the flags. Raised by followers
Rightly so
Most people have to go to work every day. 🙄
Lmao, long lost son of Ginger Baker
Meanwhile over at BBC... Russ who? It's a travesty they haven't given him air time.
Awful interview.. asking if he had a doctor with him?? At least do a little bit a research first.. then clearly called him Ross at the end.. 🙄
The saddest thing us he raised almost £1 million and he gets to keep none of it, all that work so some charities can get a hold of it and we all know how corrupt they are. And to top it all off were overpopulated so hes just done all of that work to make the earth worse than what it was. Atleast keep half for yourself he looks dead inside after than year.
Cheer up
Forest Gump run forest run.
Well done to the IDF😂
Cringe
Who cares
Man completes a world record physical fear and raises hundreds of thousands for charity
Lazy old man on TH-cam -"ehh that's nothing!"
?
Most people who don't have a complex care mate 👍
James seems a little underwhelmed 😂😂😂
Why hasn't he got a job?@@samlloyd2895
Gosh, he looks like Van Gogh!
