During my time in Bangladesh 🇧🇩 I asked for no oil paratha in another eatery and it was no problem and they gave me a no oil paratha. In eateries they do oil paratha and no oil paratha. You have to ask for no oil paratha if you don't want no oil.

I am Bangladeshi myself, but Dhaka, being a metro and business-oriented city, is very different from our other cities. It’s not as close to nature or as green as other parts of the country. While there are many places to visit in Dhaka, it doesn’t feel livable enough for me.

Itinerary for Old Dhaka: 1. Visit Lal Bagh Fort in the morning 2. Have Lunch at Emran's Heritage home (you have to book in advance through Facebook or Instagram) 3. Visit Akhsan Mazil (Pink Palace) after lunch 4. Explore Sadarghat port and Buriganga river 5. Go to Nazira Bazar for dinner/street food (like Bismillah Kabab, Hazi Biryani, Beauty Lassi, Agun Paan, etc.) Friday is good day to visit as traffic is less hectic there. Just keep in mind that Ahsan Manzill is closed till the afternoon on Fridays, so visit Lal Bagh fort first. You can also explore the Dhaka university area on your way to Old Dhaka.

Friday is good day to visit as traffic is less hectic there. Just keep in mind that Ahsan Manzill is closed till the afternoon on Fridays, so visit Lal Bagh fort first. You can also explore the Dhaka university area on your way to Old Dhaka.
