- Because I'm sure we'll never see anything from Freddie's beloved home Garden Lodge again, this is my attempt to make kind of the final tour - the one we never got. Enjoy, this is probably the closest we'll ever get to Freddie's final resting place.
This is every official footage we got from inside Garden Lodge and it's Garden. Footage is taken from the 3 Sotheby's videos and the video which was played in the exhibition in London back in August 2023.

A refined soul, lover of art. Freddie is now in our hearts and nothing else.
Freddie had such exquisite taste, a mere reflection of his beautiful soul. But, without his bright light to fill the rooms with love and joy, creativity and music, the house appears so dreadfully empty and silent. 😢💔 RIP, beautiful legend. 🙏🌹❤

It’s very sad to see Garden Lodge without Freddie, he has not been with us for a long time, his things have already been sold, the house in which there was so much joy and fun is completely empty without Freddie 💔

I feel terribly SORRY for Mary, having to have made the DIFFICULT decisions she’s had to make. ONLY Mary knows what Freddie’s ultimate wishes were/what he truly would’ve wanted… and there’s NO question that she loved Fred with her whole being, and still does. (She spent over 30 years keeping everything EXACTLY as Fred left it, just because it made her feel like he was still there.)
She’s just one, ordinary human being, trying to do the best thing before she gets too old or something happens to her health.🙏🏻
Yes, exactly. She probably knew him - and loved him - as much as anyone else in his life. Freddie is recorded as saying he could never love anyone the way he loved her and that he considered her as his common-law wife. She was there for him throughout his life, including at the end...and financially supported him for four years in the early days of his career. As you say, she kept the house as it was - and has kept it private - since 1991...which is probably unusual I would say...and is fully entitled to do what she chooses now. I cannot believe anyone would think she was being greedy... 😐

…I know it’s SAD to see this transition taking place where Garden Lodge will have new owners.
But, as lovely as the idea so many fans wish for that it could’ve been kept as a museum… There really isn’t any practical way that could’ve happened:
Garden Lodge is in a residential neighborhood with other people’s private homes in CLOSE proximity all around; there ISN’T even room where an adequate parking lot could be put in (without buying the neighbors’ homes and tearing them down to make room.) It would really be impossible, unless the blocks around Garden Lodge were just re-zoned so they’re no longer residential (which ISN’T fair to the folks living there).🙏🏻

You would never get permission for it. You have seen that garden lodge is on a residential street, with other properties near by. There's no where to park.

I don’t think GL looks like that anymore. It’s empty and Mary said it was returned to the way it was before Freddie first moved in. Sounds like his touches are all gone.
When she sold all his things his soul left as well. Well that's what it feels like.

What a beautiful home exactly the opposite of his public persona, he was acting when performing and in public.
Mary does not need the money for goodness sake, she just wants to move on, probably to move out of London to be to near her sons
@@jodawson5268 what are you her mother she has a husband and her two sons during their 20s he said so when she sold all his personal things what was that for her sons grow up he supported her forever and he still is
@@lucilleconsenza8239 excuse me she never married the father of her sons, in fact he buggered off before Freddie died, her second son wasn't even born then. She married once, 7 years after Freddies passing for about 5 years to a Nick Holcombe.
