You have to use all off your upper and lower body strength to pull push to the side. But make sure you lower the head of the bed first. Also cross their legs then turn them to their side.
I just started working as a healthcare assistant and I am struggling very badly on how to change pads. Since I am young and have never had a child this is really my first experience with any sort of pads. Since I am working with vunerable adults it’s even more stressful It’s not even the smell or awkwardness. I just get overwhelmed as to how to even start. Thankfully so far I have had a senior nurse/ healthcare assistant help me when they take charge but I need to leave how to do this properly. Sad thing is I have joined agency work meaning I am never anywhere permanent and no one has time to teach me properly as they have their own work load and they don’t know me. If there are any useful resources to become a better healthcare assistant would appreciate it. Also side note I just started my first year in college to study nursing so everything is coming at me fast and I am struggling with everything
This looks easy on someone who can move, of which most of them do not want diapers/diapers.. this is Mostly for clients who are completely unable to move or with about 30% movement. Could u kindly do one with client who cannot move easily, but thanks for the video
You only cleaned one side. So when you roll him onto his back with the new brief you risk getting feces onto the clean brief because you only rolled him to one side. This does not allow for entire buttocks including sides to be cleaned well.
What about when the client is carrying all the weight?? Due to paralysis

If that's what you got out of it, then yes
Keeps saying diaper but says don't say it smh
Be mindful of dignity and then call it a diaper. #fail
