- Dave Johnson AKA Childish Dad takes his twin daughters grocery shopping. He purchases several items with his own money. However, his wife and older two children do not approve and attempt to punish him. How will Dave stand up for himself and find himself a new home? Will any of his children come along? Yeah carthriene Brian and Emma were not very nice people at all not only hurting and controlling their own husband/dad's feelings and drispicting his opinions on baby shows they even beat him up after what they have done their apology is denied 100% Dave did the right thing to divorce Catherine I still don't understand why they were married they really need to learn to respect his opinions on baby shows and not control him sense he's in his mid 30's and is old enough to not be controlled by anyone but their bosses at work I feel really bad for him I'm glad the lady he met at the store was nice and understand him if I ever met him I would totally encourage him to not let his family control him and stand up to them
I like this version Dave, he is a great father and doesn’t care what others think of his interests and stands up for himself
@@crazycoollady I do believe Dave is just trying to be good father and be playful with the kids but Kate just kinda limits it and whipping poor Brian and Emma into maturity early on.
Adults can watch childrens/teenage content even read childrens/teenage books listen to children/teen music have plushies play video games color on coloring books diamond paint face paint shop at the mall or other fun stuff. Also suicide is NOT the answer so basically what Catherine said was mean and heartless,not even Catherine from the real random lozzie or leonard money acts like that. So Dave's speech really has touched me .....

@@crazycoolladyI'm the kind of goanimator that really care abouts personally and give each character more depth than just behaving or misbehaving. I would only do those videos on my Eight81988 channel but ones like these go here.
Acting childish is one thing but making people pay for things and using them for money is way worse. That is what childish dad did in other users, but here Dave is more fatherly and kind as well as having childish interests.

My girl friend felt insecure about her sexuality, but unlike Catherine the Not So Great, I accept my girl friend for who she is. She also accepts me for my condition. I’m glad she and I accept each other.

And the other couple who seems to be aguring with each other are ladybug and cat noir however carthriene this is how she treats her "love interest" now days ladybug used to look at cat noir the way carthriene looks at Dave but not anymore now that her feelings for him have changed and they are becoming close friends now it's good to hear that ladybug is becoming nicer to cat noir than she used to be to him and people have liked her for her heroic stuff and they are able to have a love and hate relationship with her their is no development in carthriene she's rude she's controlling and even has kids who inherited her character

And Catherine you’re setting up a bad example for your kids to follow. You’re telling Emma and Brian it’s okay to not accept others' interests, not accept people for who they are and telling someone to end their life because they’re a waste of oxygen. As for Emma and Brian, those two are tattletales over what their dad likes and they’re encouraging their mom's behavior
Yeah if I were either Brian and Emma I would totally ground the rest of the family (except Dave) for controlling him if I saw something that was for babies out of nowhere I would just leave it alone those three should feel ashamed and guilty and of how they treated him
Brian and Emma annoy me, not only cause what they do on this video, not only for being tattletales, but also because that are painfully bland.

it's ridiculous that people think Autism is something that needs to be changed.Autism is something we have to go through not something we can fix.
It's great to see you again, Ashley. It's been a while. You are absolutely correct, too. Forcing autistic people to change will only add extra stress. Likewise, banning autistic people from public places (I have actually seen people banned from certain places due to their autism, I am not kidding) will disallow them to explore the world outside their comfort zone. I think public places should always have a sensory friendly area, stim toys, and a private room for meltdowns. No, that is not being entitled and demanding special treatment. Autistic people legitimately function differently than neurotypical people, and many of them need the "special treatment" in order to thrive in society. When it comes to autistic people traveling, I also don't like it when people suggest that autistic people should only be allowed to be in a car or in a private jet. Private jets are more expensive than commercial flights, and long car rides can overwhelm many autistic people. If one is flying across the ocean, driving wouldn't be possible, either. On top of that, either one can create a claustrophobic environment. Autism is not something one chooses to have, and we shouldn't have to go through ordeals that neurotypicals don't have to because of it. I also think it's a shame that there are no neurodivergent-friendly cities in a similar sense that there are LGBTQ-friendly cities like San Francisco. I need a place where I feel like I belong. I know I sound entitled, but it is difficult for me to communicate my needs without sounding entitled. I am not a well-spoken person. Thankfully, my college is accepting towards autism.

I actually feel bad for sage because Emma and brain and Catherine is being controlling to Dave about the movies he wants to watch also I feel bad for Dave that cathrine and his kids Emma and Brian doesn’t understand that Dave is autistic, I’m 21 and a half and my parents let’s me watch Disney and kid cartoons because my parents doesn’t wanna be controlling and they understand I’m also autistic with classic autism I have!

Yes, it is disrespectful. Disallowing someone from having their own interests or making negative comments about their interests for any reason is not only disrespecting opinions, but disrespecting one's independence. Developing niche interests requires independence. Respect shouldn't be given merely for being older, but I think respect should be given to everyone unless they did something unethical. In this case, Dave didn't do anything wrong or unethical. He just bought DVDs of TV shows he was interested in.
Catherine is settling the worst example to Brian and Emma of how to treat their spouse let alone people with autism. Dave loves kids shows. So what? Catherine should not be treating Dave like trash because what he likes is different than hers.

My mom actually recently got into a firey argument on Facebook with a mom of a supposed "Autistic" individual who made everything about herself. She tried to claim that Einsteins autism made him sociopathic and misogynistic. 1) Autism is not inherently linked with sexist or sociopathic behavior 2) it was never proven that Einstein had autism. I don't like hearing the Einstein argument (either to support or condemn autism) as he and his bad choices do little justice for us who are confirmed to be on the autism spectrum. While a lot of what Catherine said is cruel, the Einstein argument is quite cliche to say the least and there are many forms autism can take and thus a wide variety of "Special Interests". Mine for example include, but are not limited to: Star Wars, Ethnic food, Italian American culture, nature walking, paranormal investigation, history, futurism, and Animal welfare politics. I am far from neurotypical but also far from a Dave Type as well. I would wish the best to both side of the conflict portrayed in this video. Dave needs more understanding people and Catherine needs a more mentally mature adult man. They really did not fit together if you ask me. Anyway, good video though.
Thanks for your thorough comment. It might be my ignorance, but I never realized how offensive or cliche the Einstein argument for autism was, and I won't use it in a future video. You are right about Catherine and Dave. I don't think it is so much that there is something wrong with Dave, but rather he and Catherine are not the best fit for each other.

Many people don't know of the "Not so Nice" side of Einstein as we want to portray him solely under a positive light in school but I don't agree with teaching only the history that makes one feel comfortable or proud. History is history, good or bad and it is in our best interest to learn both sides of history.
@@antblake1030 Absolutely. No one and no time period is perfect. I am actually guilty of romanticising the past, but earlier time periods had an entirely different set of issues that are arguably worse.
@@crazycoollady yes true. But in some ways were at the very same time also better too. Music was more creative, food tasted less like rubber and more people had an existent work ethic. But I do always hope that we can continuously improve on our condition as a civilization.

Things like music, architecture, interior decor, TV station graphics (look at my playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLbwxnjvqib6w33SrIHziI6D1M3zAlB3N1.html and you would know what I mean, for example), TV stations in general (TLC used to be The Learning Channel while MTV used to be Music Television, both as examples), fashion, and other aspects seemed more creative back then. I also don't like COVID, store and restaurant chains going out of business, inflation, polarized politics, or familiar faces (Regis Philbin, Alex Trebek, Bob Saget, Betty White, etc) dying. I do have a special interest in obsolete technology as well. However, there are many aspects that are better now. Lifespans are longer, child mortality is lower (at least in the Western World), there is more awareness of diseases, it is easier to network with people due to advanced technology, and historically marginalized groups (such as women, African Americans, and neurodivergent people) are not as marginalized. The truth is that there is no best time period to live in. Every time period has its distinct advantages and disadvantages.

I was diagnosed with autism when I was 3 years old. I’m a little different from my peers who love stuff like TikTok and skibidi toilet which I don’t give a freakazoid about. I have special interests in Disney’s Encanto, Minecraft, Roblox, Fairies, Unicorns, and other myths. I had a teacher ostracize me for my love of myths in 7th grade (I’m in 8th grade now which means it was a year ago). I understand Dave’s pane and I think his evil wife was an entitled Karen. My deepest apologies for the super long comment 😅😅

In my series, Dave is actually a Capricorn (with his birthday being on December 26th), but you are right about Catherine being a Taurus. Brian is a Scorpio and Emma is a Pisces. Ivy, Ana, and Julie are Geminis. William is also a Pisces, and Chris is an Aquarius.
