The most impressive about this recording is something many people likely do not realize, these sisters are also, like millions of other people, under lockdown and they each did their part from their own home, with only the instruments in a earpiece, so they are not together to combine their harmonies, this is all recorded on their phones and together they created this amazing version of Bohemian Rhapsody, the sisters are very close but atm apart from eachother mostly for the safety of Amy, the girl on the right-hand side for us viewers.
The fans know but for those who dont, she's a medical miracle, she has that condition where your organs are on the opposite of what normally would be the case and.. she has only one lung.
So they are extremely protective of her and careful to not ever jeopardize her health.
They each have great voices but the moment they start to harmonize.. the magic begins for real, these young ladies have mad skills and one song i can suggest, that showcases that to perfection is the song "Sing" where they do something they came up with as kids, a part of the song they have split up the words and arranged it accordingly so they each sing one word, one after another, to create the full lyrics of the song and you wouldnt even know who does what, if they didnt raise their hand each time one of them sings a part, to show who actually does that tiny part.
And yes that is as difficult as it sounds, they've had praises for that skill from famous singers who admit they wouldnt never be able to do what these girls can do.

The most insane part about this cover is that all tracks voices included were recorded individually (you can't really do this in realtime over an internet connection with the latency it incurs) and still harmonize like this.

@@ruudjanssen6890 5G you mean? That's just network packet latency, there is also video and audio encoding latency that has to be taken in account. You try singing harmonized with another person on a fiber optic connection with < 1ms latency even with that kind of low network latency it's near impossible. This is most likely recorded track by track with the next person inheriting the previous tracks.

I think they explained in another video that they record it together online. They actually talk to each other before singing then.
VWrijder77 nope, they all individually record accompanied by a click track / instrumental track. It helps that they have been doing this song in their live shows up to recently. And in this case it hasn’t been mentioned they are sisters with the girl on the right actually having just one lung.
Great reaction, guys. When they did this video they didn’t hear each other. They recorded this video separately because of the covid19 situation. They’re sisters btw from the Netherlands. They also got approval from Queen for doing this video.

These girls were guests on Beste Zangers a couple years ago which is why the Nightwish Army knows who they are. Sometimes you can hear their Dutch accent come out.
A cover that OG3NE put online on Tuesday from Bohemian Rhapsody has received approval from the gentlemen of Queen. The band shared the images of the sisters with their own 3.9 million followers on Instagram.
Making the cover was quite a challenge, OG3NE wrote to the original post earlier Tuesday. Amy said:"Bohemian Rhapsody from home insulation ( corona-virus). With the musical accompaniment on 1 ear, completely secluded in our own houses, we filmed ourselves, singing, on our phones. If this video helps to change your mind, if only for a few seconds, then we have reached our goal. "
Nice comment guys. We all were blown away by this version. These singers are singing outstanding for a long time. Their perfect close harmonies only can come because they are sisters. On you tube you can find a lot of live performances.

You guys keep me smiling the hole way trough the video. These girls are sisters. From left to right, Shelley, Lisa and Amy. Shelley and Amy are twins. Amy has only one lung, so the Corona virus is a huge risk factor for her. That’s why the can’t be together for now. They won The Voice years ago. I have seen Queen with Freddie live a lot in the 70's and 80's. It always bugged me somewhat that they didn't figure out a way to do the opera part live. Then on february 8 I went to see O'g3ene in Amersfoort. Couldn't believe when they opened their show with Bohemian Rhapsody. Live, great band, but damn, the whole song, with the opera section, all the Scaramouches, Figaro's, Galileo's, Beelzebubs... I freaked out, no doubt the best cover version of arguably the best classic rock song ever.
Then, recording this in total isolation, just the piano and guitar, all seperate from each other, and nailing timing, pitch, dynamics like they do... Bet Freddie went eeeeeee-oooooo up there

These three girls have made an interpretation of the 30 (or so) dubbs of Freddie, for three voices! And those musicians are also unparalleled in such a small setting! We went to their show last month, last show they did before COVID-19 lock down actually, and this was the opening song. I am a HUGE Queen fan (I have tickets for the postponed Queen tour 😭) but this really blew me away. Freaking awesome. They play it with the full band and that's even better (there are some bad quality recordings on TH-cam made by fans). OG3NE has won The Voice of Holland. First group to win The Voice of *anywhere in the world*.

My goodness. You Dutchies have _so_ many wonderful singers! Way more than just two. You can be very, very proud of what your country has done musically. Remember, you have Maan de Steenwinkel, Emma Heesters, Floor Jansen, Pleun Bierbooms, Amira Willighagen ... and that's just the younger generation. It's a _long_ list. Oh, I didn't even mention the male singers! Like I said ... goodness!

hi minds of the future make sure everybody who will listen/watch this video of yours, knows that this is made in quarantine due to the corona virus. Because of having just one lung Amy is very sensitive for breath diseases and that's why she and her sisters live in isolation quite some time now {they live miles and miles apart}. The compete recording was done only using the internet and the song parts were done individually in one take without hearing each other. That's why this Ogene song is so spectacular!
