Apparently Canada asked permission for use of land where as US wanted to conquer North America. Had no idea of the difference . The history that i picked upon when i was young was...all europeans wrested North America from indigenous people. That is all Natives lost all land to Spain,France ,England & then the US won the land from or bought the land from those countries. As such England owns Canada ? Thankyou Grant good lecture
