I broke this cassette when i was young and my dad said "you will regret bresking it when you grow older "...i almost did. Thanks to TH-cam. This is philosophy and not these nonsensicals we call songs nowadays

my mother in particular, when i first got admission into college...she told me that slogan "Ranti omo eni ti iwo se...ronti ibi tiwon ti bee ee" when i then heard this track i remember how happy i was then...with this song even if one is going astray he may have a rethink...a big thank you to whoever make this available for listeners on youtube

This is an everlasting piece. Even-though I live in the US, anytime I listen to this kind of song, it makes me to remember not to forget to move back to Nigeria, where I always love lovely. The country might be experiencing hard times, my family always make me more happier than anything. Oh! I wanna go home!

Kayode Fashola died in December 27th, 1983. He was returning from an engagement in Ogbomosho when his Volkswagen car hit a stationery truck parked on the road in Oyo town. He was rushed to Oyo general hospital but was later transfered to Baptist Hospital,Ogbomosho where he was declared BOD.
May his soul rest in peace.

Brilliant music. I remember Kayode Fashola, who died sadly, in a car accident while I was doing my youth service in Abeokuta in 1986/87. I will never forget the sad news announced on the radio. An old-time favorite of Alhaji Buri Bashorun, our neighbor in Surulere, Lagos. He played Kayode Fashola's music religiously every Saturday morning, especially "iyawo gboran s'oko lenu" - wives, obey your husbands, perhaps sending a message to his two wives living with him. You live forever through your music. It is well.

@Funlola Oni : You said he passed away in a car accident! That is what they said about Cardinal Rex Lawson. It was been discovered that he was murdered. In the case of Prince Nico Mbarga, his was a blood sacrifice. Kayode Fashalo could have suffered the same like so many others in the music industry world wide. Unfortunately, success and further succesd does come at a price. Don't believe anything that comes out of the media.
