I absolutely loved Killshot . And the fact it was inspired by the combination both of my favorite DC Assassins/ Villains makes me love it even more.
LUCHA Underground was LEGIT!!! so many guys whom i am fan of now-no matter how they are booked or how their careers go-im a fan of because of LU. Long Live Lucha
it was so great. it was something completely different. I wish they had listened more to the wrestling side (Konnan) how to deal with talent. they would still be in business now.
Killshot was the F'n man. L.U.4EVER
The first 3 seasons of Lucha Underground was some of my favourite wrestling to watch. It made so many stars, and being in it's own somewhat mythical universe allowed things to work that wouldn't work anywhere else.
Weren't a fan of season 4?
Mox downplaying in the locker room is the most obvious (and cutest) thing lol
Like when he was really excited about Renee being pregnant and downplayed it in a promo. It was very sweet.
I definitely reckon that was Mox fucking with Swerve.
I love that Jon Moxley still absolutely loves to watch wrestling. Only a real head is going crazy for Killshot
I miss Lucha Underground, because of that show I continued watching wrestling
Same. LU and NXT both got me back into wrestling. I remember i kept seeing the ad for LU and i kept wondering "what is that??" I just watched it one day and was hooked
Mentions Deadshot, Deathstroke, Wolverine and Sabretooth in a couple minute segment. Wonderful!
This is why I find it hilarious when people refer to swerve as an ex-wwe guy lol
Or allot of “wwe” guys that came over even though 90% were in the indies or other promotions.
Who says that? Lol
@@matthewfraijo6596 WWE fans, obviously.
He's not ex-wee guy, he's waaayy better 😆
Still remember those matches in Lucha Underground and especially that 3 stages of war with AR Fox. 1 of the best hardcore matches I've ever seen.
Fuck, that was one hell of a match!
AR Fox is one of the most underrated wrestlers of the past 10 years
I love this guy. He's from my hometown. I remember seeing him in a NXT dark show before the pandemic. The crowd went crazy for Swerve. Naturally in the WWE tradition he lost in his home but the crowd were chanting "who's house, Swerve's house" the whole match.
The curb stomp from the top turnbuckle to Fox lying on the stretcher on the floor was the sickest spot of LU season 3. The gurney holding the stretcher half-collapsed and Fox left _a chunk of his back_ stuck on it when he was knocked off. It was _insane!_
Killshot was crazy. I remember his weapons of destruction match against marty the moth.
Lucha Underground was absolute 🔥🔥🔥
I don't think I'll ever see a better live match than Killshot vs Dante Fox: Hell of War.
Just watch it. Shit was crazy and awesome
EVER!!!
That 3 stages of war match was 10/10!! Swerve, young legend
And now he's our favorite AEW wrestler, the dude oozes charisma he's great in the ring and he can be both face or heel
I had no clue swerve was Killshot. I loved him in Lucha Underground
King cuerno was Santos Escobar from nxt
@@Kr4ShSkeL Prince Puma was Ricochet, Son of Havoc was Matt Cross
Clark Kent is Superman
Jeff Cobb was Matanza
Johnny Mundo was John Morrisson who was Johnny Nitro
Swerve is Excellent!!! He gets this wrestling thing and because of that Salute!!
I miss lucha underground but so many amazing luchadors/wrestlers came out of the temple.
Ive been a fan of his work in the indys and still to this day 😊
Jon just referenced killshot last night
on Rampage!!!!!!
Lucha Underground had more excitement in 1-hour of wrestling than all the other shows combined. It was the only show that I made sure that I caught on TV week after week from beginning to end. It seemed like every single week they put on a match of the year. No other show made me cheer as much for the villains as I did for the heroes. To this day, there still has been nothing like it.
I want to see more Killshot shit out of Swerve these days. I loved the rope work!
I still call him Killshot , such a nice guy to meet
Honestly, Once Swerve is done with his in ring career, he would be beneficial as an agent in the future. Just so knowledgeable ring psychology.
I remember killshot vs dante fox in the hell of war match. One of the greatest hardcore matches I've seen
Lucha Under was the shit, and I loved Killshot.
he is so different than he is in the ring , he is a dope wrestler .. He is so humble
I had no idea until now that was all Swerve's idea. it goes to show what can happen when the wrestlers are allowed to come up with ideas and pitch things.
I remember that match between Swerve and AR Fox back in Ultima Lucha 3 that Hell of War match was 🔥🔥👏
So cool to see this I feel like I never see anyone mention his run as Killshot. That 3 stages of hell match is probably still the wildest match I’ve ever seen
Can't wait to see Swerve vs Daniels at DEFY City of Thorns on the 8th
Mox vs. Killshot
I LOVED his MLW entrance music ... Chaka Khan's "Ain't Nobody"
Love Swerve. Love Renee. Thank you for the awesome content.
Kill shot vs dante fox.
One of the greatest wrestling matches of all time ❤️🔥
When I heard Swerve signed with AEW I was hopeful he'd come in as Killshot. His best character to date
Wtf are you smoking bro, he's one of the most charismatic wrestler today why do you want him to hide his face under a mask ? 😂😂😂
@@Kr4ShSkeL because having a mask automatically makes him a mute? K.
Killshot had plenty of charisma.
@@vegasviking86 Not a mute but close
Had no idea he was kill shot!!!!
Killshot was one of the coolest characters ever.
So are we gonna get him writing for AEW
Lucha Underground was great. I didn't know that was Swerve until went back and watched replays
Long Live Lucha Underground 💔
That's sick!
Oh crap I never knew Swerve was Killshot 😳 ok
Lucha underground was super dope
Swerve is fantastic
Sitting up playing WWE2k and saw in community creations that someone put a mask on swerve and named him killshot. Was a big fan of killshot and never put the two together til now🤯
I had no idea that I had seen Swerve prior to his NXT days. That's an eye opener
He deserves a title
Swerve was kill shot!!!!!!! I can see it now. Lucha underground was so under rated.
Hope we’ll get to see Mox vs Swerve on AEW.
Killshot on Lucha Underground season 2 & season 3 is LEGIT.
Kill shot vs ArFox was legendary
Kill shot and the king (santos) were my favs….obviously angelico was a favorite too when he showed up.
Here we are a year later.. excited for Wednesday
Jon Moxley Vs Swerve next week on dynamite is gonna be a barn burner!
Kill shot was also my favorite. Him and Marty the Moth. Surprises marty didnt get signed somewhere tbh. Him and Joe Gacy would be great together.
Oh shit didn’t even realize that was swerve
Mox just didn't want Swerve to get a big head
I Started rewatching LU just lastnight I'm on season 1 half way thru. I lowkey forgot Santos was King Cruno and Killshot was Swerve ❤
I did not know he was Killshot lol I loved Aztec warfare match
Dam
Haha holy crap all this time I never knew swerve was Killshot that’s krazy lol
Man I seriously miss Lucha Underground. It was the only promotion that was different and awesome. Like the way they made it look was legit underground wrestling. Wished they kept going or hope Tony Khan can buy the rights to Lucha underground and use some of those concepts and titles and use them for ppvs or just bring back Lucha underground all together. Another show he can use for his big roster. I mean he has mostly the whole roster already the best ones at least lol
Tony Khan should hire the Lucha Underground creative team instead of wasting his money on expensive dead weight like Jeff Hardy. That show was amazing and so perfectly booked. Initial jobbers like Son Of Havoc and Marty The Moth turned into stars ffs. Rey Mysterio was the most boring part of the show and got lost in the shuffle, go figure. That's how good they elevated their initial roster.
That was my boy it took me a long time to figure out he was kill shot
Man im pissed i never watched lucha underground
They got all seasons on Tubi for free
It’s also on Xumo
@@reivaxdaze3850 thanks for the recommendation ill definitely give it a watch
@@jordanmalik420 thanks for the alternative !!!!!
You should be....First two seasons especially 👌
I was standing 6 inches from the glass they went through
In season 4 of ultima lucha, killshot got beat in a mask vs mask match and we finally got to see who killshot was. It was a really deep and inspirational moment where he demasked himself and thus created swerve strickland😂. Looks like jon missed that episode😭😭
Kill shot its mascara was unique
Crazy, the difference between swerve Strickland and this guy. Two completely different people.
I miss Lucha Underground. It is the best thing during WWE mainstream bs era. Thanks God for Tony Khan for bringing AEW.
Fantasy booking!!! Swerve challenges MJF.. MJF turns out to be the "devil" and his faction messes swerve up bad causing him to disappear from tv for a while... Then swerve returns as Killshot and takes em out one by One until he beats MJF for the title
I couldn't get past his lack of mass when he was in LU.
He was mine too. Actually upset he didnt come into AEW as Killshot. He was so much better. But, the best LU wrestler was Prince Puma. AEW really needs to get him over here, cause WWE has just RUINED Ricochet.
Lies....Penta ruled LU
I see he don't live his character from wwe n aew. Just voice give it off normal guy don't hear the hip hop swag
