The San Bernardino community wants to ensure downtown redevelopment works for everyone! We’re calling on our city leaders to include a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) in any redevelopment of the Carousel Mall lot. We want the RFP or Request for Proposals process to be transparent and engage community members from the start to the finish.
A CBA can help guarantee:
✅ Good-paying jobs and local hire for residents
✅ Affordable housing units
✅ Environmental protections and Infrastructure improvements
✅ Support for small businesses and local entrepreneurs
