Born in 2001 so it’s been an absolute honour that the guy I grew up watching as a kid is still at the top and I’ve already graduated university. Djokovic you legend.
Something about this man's game makes people forget how good he is at the sport. When you put his efforts together in a reel like this it really shows how impressive his playstyle and consistency is. Masterclass tennis.
Novak's 2023 season:
1. Won his record 10th Australian Open and 2 more slams.
2. Became the first player ever to achieve the triple career Grand Slam in men's singles.
3. Achieved the record for most ATP Finals titles.
4. Extended his record of 38 Masters titles to 40.
5. Reached 400 weeks as numer one.

Yes these are the biggest ones probably along with 8th YE#1 finish as well...but he broke and achieved plenty of smaller ones as well like most slam SFs reached, most seasons wining 3 out of 4 slams as well as 2 out of 4, most seasons reaching all 4 slams SFs of the year, most seasons winning at least 5 ATP titles, 2nd Paris Double (RG+Bercy combo), number of times QFs reached at every slam in one's career, achieved match winning streak record at the AO, got a couple of longevity records along the way as well like becoming oldest RG and USO champion...plus he equaled many more others too, majority of which can be easily broken as soon as next season like most seasons reaching all 4 slams QFs of the year, most seasons reaching at least 1 grand slam final (Should get this one unless Nadal comes back with the bang by reaching another slam final, which is doubtful...but even if he does Novak certainly will get this done by 2025 at latest), most seasons finishing inside top-3/4/5 respectively (likely to get all 3 records by the end of 2024 even if he loses rankings to say Alcaraz and Sinner...), most consecutive seasons winning at least 2 ATP titles (Nadal and Novak were tied until 2023, but Nadal's streak is now over that he didn't win any titles this year, while Novak's streak remains pretty much active, so this is a solid lock for 2024...), equaled Nadal on number of masters 1000 SFs reached and finally equaled Federer on number of hard court titles won! And this is only a list of things he achieved by breaking or equaling certain records, there are a good chunk of those left where he only slightly lags behind like being only 9 grand slam match wins away from setting new record, only 8 masters 1000 match wins away from setting new record, only 2 slam QFs away from setting new record for number of QFs reached in one's career, one Wimbledon away from equalling Federer's Wimbledon title haul (Should have happened this year already, but shit happens...i still think he can do it next year), olympic gold away from winning all 15 big titles both annual and non-annual and simultaneously achieving Career Super Slam (winning all 4 slams + olympic gold + ATP finals in one's career), Monte-Carlo title away from winning each annual event at least 3 times (Refered to as "Big Titles Sweep"), RG title away from winning each major at least 4 times (Refered to as "Quadruple Career Grand Slam"), only 2 titles away from breaking century and joining Federer and Connors as the only two other people with triple digit title count in OE furthermore only 6 titles away from surpassing Federer and 12 from surpassing Connors, only 6 masters 1000 QFs away from surpassing Nadal's number of 1000 QFs reached (For which he will probably need two seasons to accomplish, but it's perfectly do-able) and i'm sure i'm missing a few more, but that's what from the top of my head right now! Haha
There is also all 4 slam finals reached in a season record, which Novak equaled this year by tying Federer at 3 different seasons, but the reason i didn't mention it in my previous post is because I'm skeptical Novak can reach all 4 slam finals again, i hope i'm mistaken but we'll see what hapoens in 2024 going to be tough and challenging year for Novak with Sinner and Rune significantly stepping up on top of having Alcaraz and Medvedev as challenges! There are also IW and Miami masters tournaments title records, which Novak failed to break for a very long time like ATP finals one as of most recently and i think Novak can still do at least one of them, but we'll see...like i said 2024 ain't gonna be easy!

Idk. As much as I don’t subscribe to the weak gen argument, this highlight reel certainly makes it look pretty true. When you’ve got Novak facing Lajovic, Musetti, and Cam Norrie…it’s no wonder why Novak is just dominating. No one’s even close, and yes, I think Carlos is crazy talented but overrated nonetheless. We’re talking about Novak, the only one left of the big 3. He currently has no competition, minus maybe Sinner best of 3.
I didn't subscribe for the long time, for the most interesting highlights weak era from 2010 to 2020. When Fed won 4 GS titles, Nadal 11 GS and Novak only 16.. When Fed lost all matches against Novak at Wimbledon and Novak was the only tennis player who beat Federe in all 4 GS. And Nadal didn't win any ATP final.. And after 12 years he won A02022 because Novak was deported... But from 2020 who knows untill when the history of tennis is being written by Novak, against 15 or 10 years younger Gods, as they are called by the Anglo Saxon media and tennis management..they came down from Olympus onto the tennis court to rule and destroy Novak.. Anglo Saxon elite said that this is the best era.. Novak Goat in every era!
