- A real adventure south of Nashville on the Tennessee Dirt Devil, where Ward's KTM 890 takes an unexpected swim during a water crossing. See how we work together to get it back up and running in under 20 minutes. It's all part of the adventure riding experience!
I look so mad, then I look so happy. The duality of man, expressed in a matter of 8 minutes.
I could see it. Most of us would have felt the same.
I get it! I've felt it myself!
@@letstakearide First time for me! Haha... I've never gone down on any of those crossings, so it was a massive surprise.
I've never understood the 'dual sport' fascination with water crossings. If you get water in the tach odometer on a 1090 you have to take it to the dealer to re-flash the computer. Water in the case and that's about 3 oil flushes at about $60.00 each on the 1090. If cold water enters the head you can warp valves (on and on). I've cracked and or broken ribs, broke parts on the bike. Rode the day out with wet drawers; turned multiple $300 cameras into paperweights! I'm no fan of slippery bottom water crossings LOL
Awesome teamwork, any aftermath on the 890R? All good after a service when You got home?
