Beautiful song for a beautiful film. A love story that most people I talk to think is so sad... and parts are, but it ends so magnificently and full of hope and love. I still feel like they really ended up at the seaside cottage to spend eternity together.
I enjoyed the movie. You know what amazes me though? The fact that people see those 2 characters as "deeply in love" and how I see them as 2 people whose love only touches the surface. Reason: The love I have for my other half. It's stronger than anything. =]
I think you'll enjoy it even though I think it's the kind of movie that needs to be seen first, then read in a book. In other words, the ending won't be as good if you've read the book first but then, it's still worth it. The casting director deserves a fat pay raise for putting these two together. They make such a perfect couple!
Hahah Yeah u know I'm a new Josh Groban fan my b-friend introduced me, but when I heard this song I immideatley thought of him, without knowing it was him singing hehe.. Guess that just tells about his style in music:D By the way Great vid!
you can see it like that but its a bit different because cecilia has known robbie since they were kids. They have had feelings with each other for a long time. this story is so sad....
Hey transonicbuoy1, try to get a copy of a documentary called "Promises and Betrayals". You might have to re-examine your reply to Viktorious87 and maybe apologise???? You are very politically naive.
Thanks, VIKTORIOUS87. Petty you associate your feelings with a film. As I know it, Hungarian forces collaborated with Nazi Germany. The RAF, first, and then the USAF, cracked Germany. And so you speak English. Hungarians were nothing in WW2, peasants. My grand father left his farm in WW2,in Yorkshire, and fought the Germany forces in North Africa. Men died, my grandfather survived the war, and died of cancer in the '60s. So you speak English. Think twice before you make your childish comments.
This video simply inspires me. this song is pure poetry and means so much and goes perfectly with this movie
good job whoever made this xxx
Love that song as much as the video... both made me cry like mad, especially because there is this special beauty to them.

I've seen a lot of romance movies and this is the only one that made me cry. I think it was because the ending is so shocking and heartbreaking.
