In remembrance of the 45th Anniversary of the Hundred Days' War (July 1st - October 8th, 1978), when the Syrian Army bombed Achrafieh with thousands of rockets for months after a shootout with the Army of Free Lebanon. The conflict ended in the Syrians being driven out from the entirety of East Beirut, Achrafieh, and Ain el Remmaneh, and the replacement of Syrian ADF peacekeepers for Sudanese and Saudi ones. This was a total Lebanese Front victory over the Syrians.
