The way Koroknai kept escaping massive trouble to make the final table was poker justice being very asleep at the wheel.
That rule is so dumb. Just shove all in and see if there is gonna be callers and quickly muck your cards.
@@jarkkokettunen200 ikr? he was supposed to be out earlier in the tournament and keeps getting rewarded with that AK vs AK, AT vs A9 then the last 2 bust before final table. It's crazy
Same with Sylvia
Und need very much luck too make the FT at this Event
@@albertschaf6985What happened with Sylvia? You mean when he shoved his weak ace into AJ’s Kk
Man you know you are getting old when this rerun is your Saturday night entertainment. I learned you sweat doing yoga.
This is a 80s baby comment, same here.
from '87 here, and yeahh.. this is my bingwayching from now on. Just finished 2011 last week..
Sameeeee I’ve been watching all the WSOP starting from moneymaker on up…really makes me miss playing. No casino’s nearby so I have to travel 3+ hours just to play 😭
I love how back in 2012 20 big blinds was a danger zone 😅
It’s cos of the main event structure.
Stacks are way too deep.
Meanwhile a 20 big stack in a turbo online tourney is probably a top 5 stack 😅
These ladies carried themselves with complete class, hope they’re doing well.
just researched them, Elisabeth is not playing poker and went back to waitressing but haven't touched the WSOP winnings. Gail is number 2 in women's top earners.
@@justineluizpedrina2503 what you mean haven't touch the winnings? She has saved all of it for 12 years.
@@justineluizpedrina2503 Are you sure? Elisabeth still has several Hendon Mob cashes at poker tournaments around Europe but nothing at WSOP. Gail continues to be an absolute crusher on Winamax and also does well at WSOP and European poker events.
@@markcummings3146 that's what I read on an article but that was back in 2019 if I'm not mistaken
@@justineluizpedrina2503 That makes a lot of sense, I think also the pandemic seems to have been a pivot point which led to a number of former poker players choosing a different career direction.
This guy Harig comes in with 5 4 suited, flops a 6 high straight flush. He is 99.9999% chance to win. He is in the hand with a big stack who is likely to bluff at the pot on each street and Harig check raises him? Dumbest raise ever, EVER.
This is my Saturday night viewing sorted along with more than a few beer 🍺👍
Baumann had him knocked out earlier in the tournament. So unfair for her. 😡
I totally forgot about that! She sure did bust him prior.
I didnt understand what happened in that hand at all..... was her mistake?
@@Vndett-sm2ceNo it wasn’t her fault. This is what happened:
Gaelle Baumann opened for a min-raise to 60,000 from under the gun, and the action folded to Andras Koroknai, who moved all in for what looked like 2 million from the small blind. Gavin Smith folded from the big blind, and thinking that the action was completed, Koroknai mucked his hand.
When he realized his mistake, he pulled back one of his cards, but the other was irretrievable. A floor person was called to the table, and the dealer explained what had happened. Tournament Director Dennis Jones was called over to make the ruling, and upon hearing the story, he stood silently for half a minute.
Smith, who was standing next to him, began laughing at the difficulty of the decision.
After a moment for thought, Jones informed the table that Koroknai would have to forfeit 60,000 chips to Baumann, but that he wouldn't be eliminated completely.
"Really?" Smith blurted.
Flops a straight flush and check raises...... Amazing
Donk move
Greg Merson Masterclass.
Looking at this again I’d agree with you, he took some beats but never lost heart and ran it up like you must. Every hand in this would make me giddy inside after all those days of being hyper.
@breakit46 yeah he never once got emotional. Dude is solid AF. Definitely worth emulating. Reminds me of Phil ivey a little bit.
I think Koroknai shouldn't even be in the final after that all-in fold that he did. I've never seen that done before or after this year. JS
1:47:45 Flops the best hand 100% and he check raises that was terrible! On another note the females came so close to the final table.
Terrible play by that guy with Straight Fiush. Got greedy
Gaelle losing to the person she should have knocked out days ago is so sad
yes!! I'm so mad back then and now I always say "should not supposed to be here" every I see him not just the Gaelle bust but every time lol
The longest video yet and I'm stoked to watch it
Harig made a big error by raising after flopping that straight flush. He should have just called. Could have gotten a lot more out of it.
1:48:30 why in the world would you check raise when you flop a straight flush? One of the worst moves ever. The only person who would call that is someone with an A or K in their hand of the same suit or a made flush, which is less than 1% of the time.
Absurd. Keep checking to the bettor. Or at least just call until the next card comes, which is hopefully another spade or something that makes aomeone else a big hand like a full house. So bad.
The best Main Event ever!!
Harig check raising a straight flush is pretty nuts dude could have got tonnes more value on later streets
I wonder how he made it so far. Also snap calling all in with 7 on 5689J board was awful.

@@jarkkokettunen200yeah, i wouldn't have minded that call as much if he had took some time tro actually analyze it. Still highly questionable of course with that much at stake. Calling quickly was horrid though for 80% of your stack with 3rd best straight. Lol.
@jarkkokettunen200 yeah pretty bad considering the icm implications and the fact Mercen jammed almost 3x pot. Have to fold there with 2 better straights out there
@@jeffreyyoungblood7438i agree just x call x call and raise a later street by far the best play long term
I feel Baumann and Hille got robbed of the final table....sigh....
The irony of Baumans exit
What you mean?

@@repent.sinner Bauman was happy Hille's eliminated 11 place, but she left 10s
@@vermontfandialan22 hope your not telling me that, I've watched all this more than you.
@@ivanm4488 I guess, she should be happy anyone gets KO'd
Koraknai should have been gone on that all in muck blunder what an awful ruling,
The WSOP cheated Gaelle on that. They threw the rule book away to keep that guy in the tournament.
That check raise with the flopped straight flush is definitely the worst play I've ever seen!
Agreed. Very weird at this point. A call would have given him more chances to rake in way more.
Abrams.. Mini Robert Varkoni???
Bit of a cooler for Abrams but also seems like ICM punt due to the stack size 20M was more than enough to make it into top 9
that wil be crazy if that guy who got away with keeping his tourney life knocks out baumen
I'd love to go hille climbing. ❤
Shut up
She’s like 40 now

Salaburu is an absolute flailer. Looks like he’s coked out with all these spazzy bets and movements.
Anyone know if Rob Salaburu is ok? I noticed his twitter account has not been used since 2019 and he has no Hendon Mob results after that year either.
1:06:00 well I am not a world Champion but I would suspect it’s because you keep attacking trying to “win a hand” against a specific player when sometimes that just won’t work.
1:24:12 he 5 bet 40 bigs all in preflop with 44s??
That’s a moment…I wonder if he kicks himself when thinks about it…
He completely blew up on day 7.
@@nicholi2789 my ex once who doesn’t play said maybe they go all in because they’re just bored i know am
I never realized how boring this must be to people who don’t play
At 30:10 - 33:01 Is Salaburu on meth? No one is that amped up without a chemistry set involved.
A lot of players complain of exhaustion after so many days with so little sleep. I can't help but wonder if he didn't get a little help with his energy level.
Koroknai ended up busting Baumann. Cold.
Juevos rancheros is a egg breakfast dish
I remember this guy saying that all the time, I thought "that's stupid, not gonna last". It's just Spanish! Haha
Guevos*
the one guy blasts off pocket 4s pre-flop with a healthy stack, another guy check-raises a straight flush on the flop, hard to believe this was only 12 years ago, lol
I would love to see Salaburu and Will Kassouf at the same table.
That misdeal cost Abrams, either him or Sylvia would have ended up with the AA. In that situation, shouldn't the dealer stop and the floor manager check it out, not the players call it?
I'm mainly here to watch lon mcharen and norman chad
Raising that straight flush made me throw up in my chair.
Norm was in love with Marc Andre.
Turn the STACKING CHIPS volume down. Holy crap.
The best poker yr
Between Day 6 and 7, Ladouceur has saw J9 sometimes 😂
Check your privledge gee
ese jessy silvya es un bruto con suerte
I love seeing the French lose.
Yep
Is it you, Adolf?
Any other time I'd agree with you except I was pulling for her.
😅😂
So, you hate the French?
1:53:14 wtf is wrong with this guy ? who had the bigger tongue ?? lol
Yeah, is that some sort of nervous tic that Ladouceur and Sylvia have?
Hopefully 1 day when a lady wins the ME, there should be a winners parade in Vegas.
Strelitz ran out of luck towards the end, way too aggressive with pocket 4’s.
1:36:50 so unexpected
People knock Salaburu, but I'd rather have a player act quickly than have a player take longer than usual.
48:00
What kind of rocket scientist flops a straight flush and then bets on it instead of letting people give you more chips
Having women finish 10th and 11th when we haven’t had a woman at the ME final table since 1995 is soul crushing to say the least
Koroknai knocking out Bauman is all kinds of wrong.
ах-ха-ха, как мужики радовались, что девушку победили!
4:09:50 truly one of the worst moves I've ever seen. You don't reraise 3x the last bet to a three bet from 3 other players with a hand as bad as T5. Just abominable. Terrible.
This is just having a big stack go to your head on overdrive. You want to have more of a holding than that facing what you know is at least one other truly strong hand. All three of the previous raisers aren't lying. And more than likely at least one of them is AK or a big pair. In this case, all 3 of them. 😂
6 of spades 😂
Strelitz terrible player how’s he make it that far. Must have got lucky and dogged tons of players
To get there players must be really lucky. And to get there playing like a donkey (like the player you mentioned) players must be extremely lucky. But at the end anyone needs a lot of luck to be in the top 200 from more than 6 thousand players
Most but not all. But the way that bloke plays he would have to have got lucky atleast double figure numbers.
17:35 What a !#$ %^&*.
Koroknai should have been out day 5, the WSOP cheated gaelle in this tournament.
They were all so bad back then
Thomas definition of the term NPC
salaburu sure is on drugs...acts like on speed but has eyes like when i smoke cali weed.... fun to watch
Sylvia is the worst 'pro' i've ever seen, and i said this 10 years ago too
jesses girlfriend now works at the hoters.
I just stopped the video and came here to vomit over the straight-flush check-raise. What a dumb play...
The constant obsession over the two women was so cringe. I remember Hill and Baumann making the deep run in 2012, but I don't remember the relentless pandering. ESPN been woke for as long as I can remember.
Anybody know where Rob is now?😂🤡
