Do you recommend buy another portafilter? Or should i keep the original portafilter and only change the basket for another one (the one that has a lot of tiny holes)?
After watching, I grabbed the same set up you have from Temu lol but my extraction drips and splatters. Yours has a steady single stream. Any suggestions? My scale might be the culprit but not sure 🤔
ey! nice! what grinder are you using? how fresh are the beans? I adjust the grind settings every time I get different beans, so it's always a testing phase. but try grinder finer or coarser based on your extraction. I started putting 17g of coffee now vs. the 16.5 in the video.. and tamp good enough but not to the point your killing your wrist! let me know how it goes!
@@YD.00 I have a lower end cusinart that I got for drip coffee but I’ve read that it doesn’t grind fine enough for espresso so I’ll be grabbing a grinder soon. Using preground Illy for now. I’ll probably grab a better scale, my weight fluctuates so it’s tough to keep track. Appreciate the help!

I definitely would recommend buying a bottomless portafilter. Check out the video in my channel about advanced mode!

Any noticeable difference when using the mesh filter?
yes! it helped with water distribution and a big plus for me was that it keeps the machine clean of coffee grinds

surprisingly, Temu! all the tools I have are actually from Temu, and they serve their purpose
