Middlesbrough v Hull City Matchday vlog!

Here is my video from the SkyBet championship fixture between ‪@MiddlesbroughFC‬ and‪@hullcityofficial‬ at the Riverside stadium on Wednesday 13th of December 2023, Middlesbrough were hoping to get back to winning ways after successive defeats against Leeds United and Ipswich Town respectively.
Boro started the game brightly with Isaiah Jones and Anfernee Dijksteel both back in the team after suspension and both linking up well on the right hand side, Sam Greenwood had an early chance that was off target.
It didn't take Boro long to make their pressure count, Lukas Engel intercepted the ball after pressing Hull back to feed Jones who's initial effort was blocked, the ball fell kindly for Emmanuel Latte Lath who smartly applied the finish, going through goalkeeper Ryan Allsop's legs to give Boro a deserved lead after just 6 minutes, Boro had plenty of possession and had a few half chance through Jones, Latte Lath and Matt Crooks, while former Boro loan player Aaron Connolly also had an effort on goal that was held by Boro goalkeeper Seny Dieng. Isaiah Jones also had a great chance to put Boro 2-0 up before the break after some good link up play. Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull City HT.
Despite Boro's good play in the first half, Hull nearly levelled the score with 2 minutes of the second half with Liam Delap going close, Boro had a free kick from Sam Greenwood whistling just wide before Hull manager Liam Rosenior made the changes that influenced the game. Firstly from a set piece that came from a blocked cross, Liam Delap headed home at the far post to level the score before sub Morgan Rogers played the ball across the Hull box but there was no one following the ball in for an easy chance on goal, and after some poor defending again Hull delivered a sucker punch with sub Ozan Tufan finishing a Hull counter attack to find the bottom corner, despite some last ditch defending for Hull, the equiliser never came for Boro and a third consecutive defeat was confirmed.
