I don't use air fresheners because I have RADS, myself. No perfumes or chemicals on the carpet. White vinegar is my go for many things.
Switched my rescue to Dr Judy's pup loaf (gently cooked) 3 months ago. My dogs fur and skin are so soft and the dandruff is gone. He still itches, so I think it's either environmental or he needs a chiro adjustment.
He had to go to the vet for severe diarrhea... his bloodwork showed he's exceptionally healthy. We suspect he ate some of my neighbor's cat poop (who uses my yard as a litter box) combined with a few details. When she read the pup loaf recipe, she said, "I can see your dog means a lot to you". 😍

Dye should be added to all pesticides used especially public spaces and they blame parvo if your dog gets sick.

Can't wait for my pre-ordered book to come.
A couple things to add to the discussion of chemicals: Older pressure-treated lumber for things like decks can have arsenic in them. And the arsenic can leach into the soil, and is a persistent chemical. It's there, permanently. Even if the deck got torn down years ago, the soil underneath where it was could still be contaminated with arsenic. Also, a lot of lawns were watered with plumbing that contained lead. Even if you no longer have pipes with lead soldering, if the old pipes had lead, you could still have a lead problem in your yard. Lead is another persistent chemical. And lead-based house paint on the outsides of older homes that were stripped outside could have contaminated the soil around the foundation of the house. Growing things in soil with lead and/or arsenic can lead to whatever things you grow containing lead and arsenic. This includes grass that your pet might eat.
For what it's worth, RO filters and distillation are the only ways to remove fluoride. Britta filters don't remove fluoriade. But RO filters can become a source of coliform bacteria contamination. The town where we live only chlorinates the water if there is a break in the water lines, or if the water tests as having coliform bacteria, as coliform bacteria is used as a predictor of potential e-coli contamination. People with healthy immune systems are not affected by coliform bacteria, but dogs are. And the coliform bacteria can contaminate the RO filter far enough into the filter that any chlorine that the city adds will be removed so the chlorine doesn't reach the depth of where the coliform bacteria can colonize. Coliform bacteria can get through the RO filter into the water. So, every time our city sends out warnings of a coliform bacteria contaminate. we have to replace our RO filters. Even so, I've had my dogs get sick from the coliform bacteria numerous times because several months can go between the city testing the water.

That is very interesting, they say that parvo stays in the soil etc i wonder if this is more the case than a virus. DDT caused spine deformities just like polio.

If they are spraying our lawns w these pesticides then it is safe to say the children are absorbing it direcrly by playing in the yard.

Yes. Same goes with chemicals used in the home. Dr B and Rodney talk about studies all the time that were done showing evidence of environmental chemicals we (and pets) are exposed to show up in urine tests.
