@@AnthonyAPerez yes i saw Nyad. Nice movie but If you ask me can you watch it again? i will say "No". I watched three times "Young woman and the sea", and i will certainly watch it again. As i watched so many times the movies " October Sky (1999)", "The greatest game ever played (2005)", "Seabiscuit (2003)". Such a feel good underdog movies. What do these movies have in common? Great (true) stories, beautifully played and directed, and the secret ingredient for the recipe of a great movie, which is the powerful music at the key moments during the movie. The composer Amelia Warner made a outstanding work with the movie "Young woman and the sea". is this movie a masterpiece? No it's not. But in our movie days its a hidden gem, a breath of fresh air. I am a movie lover (as you can imagine) and i'm so disappointed of the movies in our days. Its all about science fiction, fantacy, ai - effects. Where is the golden decade of the 90's when real story telling movies came out? Imagine that in just one year, in 1994 the following movies came out: The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Leon, Pulp Fiction, Legends of the Fall. And take a look today. Number one at the Box Office "Deadpool & Wolverine"? Really???

Had a chance to see this one on Monday, but unfortunately didn't have the time to go. I think Daisy Ridley is definitely recovering from her negative experience with Star Wars, which makes me glad. I can always appreciate a good period piece and slice of history tale like this, so I'm happy to hear you've enjoyed this, compadre! 🙏🙏🙏
I remember seeing a trailer for this one but had no idea it was based on the true story only wish they marketed it more since it does sound like a good decent watch even though it feels like a PG movie, i may check it out eventually but will keep an eye out on that first act awesome review man
Great review bro! Sounds like a nice family movie that is inspirational at the heart of it. I’m not sure if I will check it out but I did like hearing your thoughts.
I really enjoyed this one! The soundtrack was so powerful. Loved this story!
Great review, man. Wish I could’ve seen Daisy Ridley in this one. Love me a decent underdog story!
By far the best movie in the last years. Great production, brilliantly directed, heartwarming, inspiring. Raise the sound…. Great soundtrack!
@@manos_kantilas I’m glad you enjoyed it so much! Have you seen Nyad?

Never heard of this movie til now
I have seen almost zero advertising for this movie.
I guess that is how Disney will save its money. 🤷
Really? I keep hearing that, but I’ve seen plenty in my area.
Do you like the film battleship is it well made with good acting and entertaining charachters
I’d need to rewatch it. Don’t remember it much.
This reminds me of Anya’s that just came out last year.
Anya’s?
@@AnthonyAPerez I mean Nyad. Stupid autocorrect.
@@jasontheoldmillennial7197 ah yeah, I mentioned that here in this video actually.
I haven't gotten to this one
Well, it just came out, so that’s okay.
