I'd say that Burberry destroying its own merchandise to minimize the surplus and resale markets (thus keeping the brand more elite) is pretty damn outrageous, if not downright evil.
I worked for them in HQ, they now do big staff sample sales… and when I mean big I mean big… I got a handbag worth a lot for under 50 pounds/ which I was not complaining about
I agree

Cristobal Balenciaga keeps on turning in his grave..
I'm so proud of the SA survivors for having the courage to speak up. Sick people in the world
You forgot Terry Richardson if you mentioned photographers
fantastic photography tho 🤷🏻♂️
D&G still irks me to this day, they’re so disgustingly hypocritical
Miu Miu ad campaign with Mia Goth that was banned in UK.
Kate Moss aged 15 was topless for The Face Magazine.
Prada sacking female employees who complained about sexual harrasment
French Vogue using 10yrs old model for photo shoot.
Dior and Armarni using sweat shops in Italy. Bags made for £50 selling for £3000.
Sweat shops in general. One reporter stated that most of the designer bags she saw in Harvey Nicks were made in China ect.
that Balenciaga one is just one sick intentional campaign and it still haunts me
their apology is just they were caught on act of them shoving their agenda on our throats
I think the Peter Nygard scandal was really bad. I was expecting to see it on this list.
I'm quite surprised too to not see him there.
I think all that says is that is there is enough mind blowing scandals in the fashion industry to make a part ll 😂
@@reenakemp9132 sadly. 😕
What about Marchesa?
This needs to be a top 20 for this list.
The Balenciaga scandal should have been in the top 3. Yall also should have reported about how the karjenners still supported the brand WHILE allowing their kids to be apart of those disturbing child predator ads.
no Shein?.. for copying all the designs details of an specific fashion items from the lesser known fashion designers and lesser known fashion houses
Why is it that John Galliano and Mark Jacobs continue to look more the same year after year.? Lol I think they’re the same person!
Marc Jacob’s got Plastic Surgery. Did you see him at the Met Gala? Then look at the older pictures. It’s very noticeable but whoever performed his surgery done well. You can barely tell (if not for the photographs). It’s not like a Madonna situation where she got plastic surgery and it had to let it settle for months and now she looks good again. 😮
Ironic how Galliano was cancelled for being anti-Semitic but now people are being lauded for being just that.
Speaking up because 1sr43l is committing g3n0c1d3 isn’t being antisemitic. If you think it is, you aren’t a good person. If you don think a g3n0c1d3 is happening, your view of reality is very skewed. Whatever it is, it’s a problem.
I thought it would be scandals related to exploitation of workforce in some countries (especially children), endangerment of models (especially health with irresponsible regimes), issues of intellectual property,... It seems to me that you have chosen topics which are not only scandals but have made the deadlines.
The originator of 'Balenciaga' wouldn't concieve the kind of crap that label puts out as 'Balenciaga'. Shameful.
Abercrombie & Fitch CEO? Alexander Wang?
“White Hot:The Rise and Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch” is a must see documentary🤦🏽♀️
importantly no the country Bangladesh that several fashion houses are made in Bangladesh on the process of manufacturing that one building collapsed after due the heavy weights of the fashion items just stucked on the building so many been died and some miserable employees had been wounded.. and there's more some employees said they're been in slavery, unpaid, mistreated from bigger bosses and no sanitary licensed.. some European news outlets been delivered this news and I'll bet France been covered this up so why it's not been a big news around the world
I’d say an ongoing scandal would be how many big fashion houses use so much unpaid labour abroad and from students etc. They act as though you’ll get experience but they’re just running through as many willing workers because they can’t skimp on big locations for shows or parties.
Happy saturday night, Kirsten, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Do you do this to the male hosts, too, or are you a creep
@@Uncle_Smidge i'm just wishing them a good day, nothing weird
"Project Runway" fails in reality!
Shocking
Tara Banks considered one😊
while some of these “scandals” are indeed warranted, I do think some on this list were completely blown out of proportion I won’t go into which ones, but a majority of those on this list feel like some were trying to make a ocean out of a raindrop
Marc Jacobs did what he had to do to get the venue...no one was hurt.
Galliano in ruins? 😹 He’s producing the best work in Paris at Margiela.
I tried to find Mel borans controversial paintings on Google and I could not find them every time I try to search his name on Google. They will tell me it’s a spelling error and a mistake and tried to correct the spelling of his name.
John Galliano is still employed after the Antisemitic slash.. John Galliano is still the Creative Director & the fashion designer at MANSION MARGIELA
He is a fanatsastic designer though. Love his art. Try to separate the art from the artist. If you can't do that then I'm sure music isn't for you, I have no doubt your fave musician is a terrible person.
Well he was fired from Dior, also lost his own brand I believe then went on a forced hiatus for many years before to come back...
People can change, he paid his fees and lost a lot professionally... No need to punish him forever imo, mainly when he was so missed in fashion!
Dior overreacted. Galliano is still on top. ❤
John Casablancas, the founder of Elite Models, had relationships with several underage models who were signed to Elite, the most well-known being Stephanie Seymour when she was 15.
Wow
Alexander Wang harrassment scandal
Well it’s a good thing that we don’t need the opinion of Dolce & Gabbana m0rons. Also, I wonder if Gucci’s diversity and inclusion changes have gone the way of Facebook’s and other companies. They decreased those programs by 40% now that it’s not in the news anymore and it’s not the “in” thing to do apparently.
D&R are right.
Vic fabe
MARC JACOBS fashion house is owned by LVMH which they owned LOUIS VUITTON, OFF-WHITE, CHRISTIAN DIOR, GIVENCHY, Rihanna's Fenty Beauty, Sephora, EMILIO PUCCI, CÉLINE, BERLUTI, STELLA MCCARTNEY, PHOEBE PHILIO, PATOU, LORO PIANA, LOEWE, JW ANDERSON, KENZO, Make Up For Ever, Guerlain paris, Bvlgari, Belvedere etc.. also LVMH was the reason hired John Galliano at CHRISTIAN DIOR
Everybody knows this, what's your point? 😊
Have a suggestion for a video people that did sexual stuff like Matt Lauer may or may not be on TV who knows😊
D&G banned in China
WHOS VOICE IS THAT? WHERE IS MS MOJO? Why you hired other voice over??
I am disappointed in Vans but also super understanding at the same time.....they just wanna make shoes man lol
Sensible people feeling personally offended by EVERYTHING
7:00 wow, one of the good things about America is freedom of speech. You won’t get locked up for what you say. (I’m not condoning his behavior at all). So that’s kind of scary that you have to watch what you say, drunk/high or not. I know everyone busts on America but we have the most freedoms.
Gucci perfume used to be bangin’, that was the only thing I liked. The hoodie strings were SO BAD oh my gawd 😮
Don’t forget D&G being racist on twitter!
Except John Galliano is now still regarded as a genius and is working for LVHM who is owned by a Jewish family so... guess it's not that big a deal when you bring in the big bucks!
Galliano works for Maison Margiela, owned by OTB, not LVMH. He is a genius as a fashion designer, which doesn't necessarily mean he is a good person, but doesn't mean he isn't either. When he said those horrible things, he was very drunk, so what he said may not be what he actually believes, and many people who know him stood by him and said he wasn't anti-semitic. Based on the recent documentary about him (High & Low: John Galliano) I believe it was the alcohol that made him say those things, not his beliefs, but I can be wrong, of course.
Anti-Semitic is illegal in France. Anti-Islam is ok?? 😂
NAH.......IS A COMMON ACT RIGHT?
Good for France! Viva La France, 🇫🇷
For the conviction of Galliano? Most of what is considered free speech in the USA would be considered hate speech in France, incitement to racial hatred,... and would be legally forbidden.
Darlings, Italian queers passing judgement .
D&G, Please they are hypocrites. They don’t mind making a pass tot the models even knowing they only 17. Anyway they just design crap 💩
