i like how defenders are just hunting attackers. the ratio was definately off. it shouod have been more attackers or attackers have one respawn or smth.
Even so a group of defenders went out early to hunt attackers , and killed off a majority of them, more attackers would’ve been more kills since out of the 14 guys that left 13 came back destroying more than 20 attackers so , attackers just had more pvpers ,
@@Hammer818 deff not, in the castle we didn’t have food, and all the armor we could’ve had was Chainmail/leather we would’ve instantly lost if there was a border (defenders)
I think in traditional military theory the attacking force is supposed to be 3x as large as the defending force in order for it to be balanced. So starting out the attackers were already at a major disadvantage being only equal in size and it only got worse.
This rule is a bit sketchy as it depends heavily on the defensive structure itself. For some castles, even with 5 times the number of defenders you wouldn't pass through.
I think its generally agreed that a siege needs about 3x as many troops as the defenders to be successful. The idea of simply starving the defenders out was probably the best bet, but we don't know how much they had in terms of food.
So, The Defenders had an huge Advantage because the attackers couldn't place blocks in the Defender's Fortress. 🚫No Pillering 🚫No Lava Edit: Wow IM famous?!
Was such a nice event , 😅 but the attackers overall power was so lacking me and 4 others defended 1 gate by ourselves the whole match , I managed to get 10 confirmed kills and other assets
In real life to have a decent chance at taking a fortified location with two equally equipped and trained sides you need at least a 3:1 ratio of attackers to defenders, a 5:1 ratio is more certain.
Something was off the moment a video titled “200 players simulate a medieval battle” started with “150 attackers, 150 defenders”. Also, it definitely shouldn’t be even as defending is always supposed to be easier than attacking.
Huh, this was kind of a surprise. In most civ events the winning team is the one that strikes out and attacks others. I think the difference makers were: - Their pre-loot - Splitting up kinda made sense for them, having some go out and hunt the attackers down while others defend. What would've made sense for attackers is balling together and bum-rushing the castle since surely someone would've gotten through to the beacon. - The pre-made structure being really good. In most civ events you either don't have that much time to make a good defensive structure or need to hold back on how defensive it is because of buffoons on your own team who will otherwise die to your own defenses. - Forced defender and attacker teams. In a normal civ event the more aggressive players are usually also the more pvp-competent ones, so they'll naturally gravitate to the teams that launch attacks rather than defending, and only be taken down because of everyone else teaming up against them (if they're taken down at all). In this they're more naturally split.

Too real
Maybe put a border around the castle that defenders can’t go past, because they attacked you more than you attacked them.

@@NakaSleep yeah, the attackers should have spawned together and with starting gear.

I think if the attackers win this fight, then they are CHADS
Also, the fact that they have no leader, and most of them are probably just normal players and don’t have any pvp of strategy skills so they gonna die

Yeah, it shoud have been at least 200 attackers vs 100 defenders
A attacker always losses more men then the defender. The attackers should of had more players
200 vs 100 would have been more fair

The ratio was way off. Should’ve been way more attackers. The Defenders hunted the attackers the entire time.
We learn from mistakes 🙌
Do thia again but attackers shoild have more numbers and spawns in like a siege camp or camp
actually according to my caculations there is 286 players
