Divya - Interesting perspective. I watched most of your videos on Puttaparthi and it came across with a hint of disappointment and with a somewhat condescending overtone. I'll like to learn a little bit more from a westerner who was in so close proximity with the ashram and Swami. Would you mind elaborate on: 1. Do you have any remorse being raised with eastern value system and 2. How do you personally felt about Sathya Sai Baba
1. I have no remorse, because I enjoyed my life fully, doing exactly what I wanted to, when I had faith and was living in Prasanthi Nilayam and in India for 21 years - several of those years living with Sai Baba's sister and understanding Telugu. 2. I feel sai baba was an extremely charismatic egomaniac who got lucky with early devotees spreading the word about his claims to divinity. Several devotees even in the 1970s wrote books about sai baba sexually abusing young boys but the information was suppressed by the Ashram authorities, or explained as "he is god, he can do whatever he wants." I feel if sai baba was born 50 years later, he would have never become famous, because technology would have proven him fake.

My notes from then just mention darshans and mandir bhajans each day and visits with a friend who lived there. I was impatient to leave after just a few days of dealing with darshan lines and crowds - we didn't have to wait in lines in the 70s!
I am visiting Prashanthinilliyam soon. Could you please share the pics of the aahram rooms and their condition? Also, Is there any car parking facility available in Ashram as we will coming on our own. Will really appreciate, if you could let me know about this!
Romms are very good. I think you will get rooms only if you are with family, not alone. Anyways it may ne a long time before visitors are allowed to stay in Prashanti Nilayam Ashram because of covid.
Om Sairam.
@@Divyakka someone just told your friend lies and you believed them perhaps ?
@@MrMHimanshu Swami teaches us to look at only good; be, good, see good, do good; that is THE problem because then nobody looks at the other side because everyone chooses only one side. To find out if they were lies, look beyond "good" and find out for yourself, rather than assume they were lies. Decide for yourself rather than follow what a "good" Sai devotee should do.
@@khoojlyn bro im aware many people are paid to talk against Baba. money is the real good. not saying Divya is paid. but its possible to be influenced by someone who is. besides ive seen Baba from both sides. in fact when i was a kid i totally believed all the bad stuff in Blitz magazine about Baba churned out by russy karanjia the editor. later russy became a sai devotee himself. and ive clarified elsewhere Baba Himself said to me that im not a sai devotee but a child of god and we are all children of the one God. im just pointing out that nothing in my experience of Baba points to Him being anything other than what He says He is. may god bless us all :)
@@Divyakka I thought I saw somewhere where you said you lived with Baba's sister "in the ashram". I thought both sisters had big houses next to each other, across from their brother, in the village. Clarify please.
Why did you mention about murders and wealth . Are you a true devotee ? It is very bad. You shouldnt have mentioned . Very upsetting.
@@Divyakka Sad to hear your judgement voiced so openly here.
Nice video om sai ram 🙏
Why why why? spilling the truth is unbecoming of a "devotee" eh?
Is a true devotee an unquestioning believer, blind to criticism? If so, then nothing separates you from a cult member, totally indoctrinated and therefore unable to think for yourself.

Next time Please try to improve your video coverage.

R u out of mind, never a small think can b misplace aur stolen ever here since so far i m going from 90s every year here
I loved your hint of sarcasm in this video Ms.Divya. Pity that many people are still unable or unwilling to see the kind of criminal that Sathyanarayana was.
Thanks! Hopefully more and more eyes will be opened.
IT seems you hate him a lot? Well thats a huge allegation you are putting on Him. Do you have any idea the positive impact that he has created on us humans. Forget about the world-class free hospitals and University that He has established. The amount of selfless service the organisation has done during Covid , silently. He is the motivator behind all this. Its versy easy to comment even in sarcastic way. It's pity for those who couldn't understand Him.
@@Divyakka I feel just the other way round. You even being there couldn't understand an ounce of his divinity. :-). His Divine mission is unstoppable and will go on and on
As far as I know everything she has said is true. But I am wondering why she is only rehashing old news. Why has there never been any discussion about all of the criminal activity in Puttaparthi? Something leeks once in a while but it has always been consistently there especially outside for which they always blamed on the village. The most egregious thing I noticed, other than land grabs, when I was there in 2008, was the selling of the tombstones from the Christian graveyard from across the river.
Haha, I hadn't heard of the selling of tombstones. Lots of info, including some recent news too, is published by me on the blog of Robert Priddy, here is the latest blog post: robertpriddy.wordpress.com/2022/04/23/use-of-sri-sathya-sai-trust-buildings-for-new-district-opposed-and-other-teething-problems/

I have found peace in Shirdi and Mathura Brindavan...I have had experiences there...and am interested in studying NDE experiences...Anita Moorjani and Dr Alexander...NDE experiences reflect that the whole world is an ashram and God dwells or “is” all living and non living beings...we need not go to ashrams etc...theses places are the “maya” or holiday destinations .
