AFTER A LOT OF RESEARCH ON TYRE CHANGE... MY FINAL VERDICT ON BEST REAR TYRE SIZE (Other than the original 80/100) FOR SP125...... --------------- 90/90 - R18 54P ---------------- CEAT/MRF/JK/TVS/APOLLO TYRES BEST 90/90 is immediate next size compared to 80/100. Width = 90mm and height = 80mm Compared to original Width = 80mm and height = 80mm So there is no difference in height. That means the mudguard and suspension doesn't get affected. It's width increases only by 10mm but it doesnt touch the chain guard. By changing rear to 90/90 (which is wider than 80/100) the rear tyre will be able to hold it's line with the front 80/100 even during cornering at 80kph speed. Thus makes highway riding better and increases rider's confidence. For better highway performance and cornering, all you need is next size rear tyre when compared to the front tyre. You dont need anything more at all. Plus with 90/90 tyre, mileage doesn't decrease by a lot (only 4-5 kmpl less) as it does with tyres of greater size. So please don't go for anything more than 90/90 in the case of rear tyre for sp125. Anything other than that might not look like a problem initially. But over a period of a year or 2, problems will arise in one way or the other. Because the tyre might come in contact with mudguard if height is more, and if width is more it will make contact with chain guard. Also a tyre's size increases during performance compared to when it is stationary. Because the rubber expands slightly during the ride because of the heat. Please take care of your bike and don't let it get hampered with bigger tyres than necessary. If possible don't change at all. But if you have to change, go for 90/90 rear on this bike. That's what I have chosen for my SP125. PS: Like this so that people see this and avoid their sp125 from getting damaged or becoming less efficient.

You should have put mrf tire on,this tire tread looks like off road tire,it will effect the milage a lot.Another channel guy changed his tire to 100x90 mrf it looks very nice and original.

Wo grip achha karne ke lia change kia ha.... Milage ke lia nahi. Honda wale milage ke lia patla tire lagate ha.. modifie karke engine me usse problem nahi hota ha.

rubber in the leg guards does not allow cool air to reach engine, your engine will overheat and wouldn't last that long. You better take out that rubber in front of the engine.
