Hitoban's explanation of monsters.
Although detailed explanations of the monsters are not published in Gatsu Hyakki Yagyo,
Sekien is having Hitoban read the potter's head.
Hitoban was originally a Chinese monster, but it was introduced to Japan and became established as Rokurokubi (Rokurokubi).
This is an explanation of Rokurokubi from the folklore of each region and its characteristics.

飛頭蛮って何度もお話を聴いているはずなのに、何故か　あの首が飛んでいく奴なんだっけ⁇って思い出そうとすると、頭に思い浮かぶものが私は、飛頭龍の方になってますね〜ガンモドキ🤣🤣🤣
一字違いで思い浮かんできます。
思い出すのに壁が一枚余分にある様な🤣

高熱が出ている時とか、天井が目の前に見えたりすることがあったので、夢を見ている時とかは体から抜けてある様な感覚あると普通だと思っている人にも起きていることかもしれませんね〜　たまたま見える人が居るとろくろっ首とか、飛頭蛮に見えてたりとか？
またお話を聴きに伺います。この頃楽しみです。　　世の中不思議な事はたくさんあるんだなぁと😊ではまた

子供の頃、木の天井を常夜灯の明かりで見つめていると、顔に見えたり、迫ってきたり、動いたりする様に見えて恐ろしかったですね〜。あの感じは大人になって無くなってしまいましたが、今思えば何か大切なものを置いてきてしまった気がします。。
因みに飛頭龍自体をコメントを頂いて初めて知りました💦さっそく検索してガンモドキ‼️まだまだ知らないことが沢山あります😄

小さい時にろくろ首のお話を色々と聞いたことはたくさんありました。首が元へおさまることのできなければ死ぬ、ということは初めて聞きました。

ろくろ首は、昔の人がある人たちに起こった症状を説明する為に生み出された存在なのかも知れませんね。勉強させていただきました。

そうですね。現代の実話怪談で語られる生霊や幽体離脱、幻覚現象などの中にも「首が飛んだ」と表現できる物があるような気がします。
