The year is 2300 and...something. The world is a barren wasteland, with small pockets of human presence and a dangerously mutated animal world, where creatures have mutated beyond recognition. Earth has survived a disruptive cataclysm, where two wars occurred: a biological war that broke the human spirit, and a nuclear war that devastated the surface of the Earth. Resources are a rare commodity, and the small tribes trade whatever they can...and sometimes, assault and pillage whoever they see fit. There is no government. There is no law. There is barely any technology. Forced to live in a dark age, Humanity relies heavily on coal and steam, and are slowly rebuilding what is left from the prime civilization.
