You're missing the whole point and definition of the CC effect. It's not impactful if it is only helping her. It's impactful when it grows the game. For example, NY vs the Sky had its largest attendance ever. Mystics and Atlanta are selling out despite having losing records. That's the CC effect. Attention to the game, and everyone is winning from it.

I don’t think there’s many people hating her specifically. It’s more so hating the attention she gets and they think they or others deserve. They then project that onto her somewhat since they don’t have another target.

You won’t find many saying they hate her, we can’t stand her silly ass, delusional fans. People give her, her props where they’re due, but also can see her flaws. The person that got death threats and gets constant hatred towards HER is Reese. This is a distinction so often missed by the American majority. It’s inconceivable that people don’t come from a place of hatred, because it’s so imbedded in them. Lack nuance. I had a coworker mention that her church groups teach them how to love…then it all made sense. Poor things. When critique means hatred. When frustration at a repeated situation means hatred. When pointing out an issue means hatred…the call must be coming from within.

The assists are just going to continue to add up as the team chemistry builds. Fever are running the floor, getting to their spots and are actually catching the passes that CC throws to them. She is a great passer. Do not underestimate what Angell has been accomplishing. W has been around 27 years and as a rookie she holds the record for double/double, pretty impressive. Difference between the two is maturity. IMO Angell is in the running for the next Liz Cambage tag, she needs to tone it down a bit. As for ROY, both teams just passed the halfway point in the season, both have about 15 games remaining in the season. Let's see what the individual stats say and more importantly how the teams finish the reg season. All this bullshit bricking in the W is all media driven, but the players must come together and stop buying into it.

A triple double is considered a greater accomplishment than a padded double-double, where a player achieves double digits in only two statistical categories unlike Caitlin’s achieving a much higher numbers in 3 categories. Using the analogy of being the only president greater than the rest of the 100 senators, you can think of a player achieving triple-double as setting themselves apart from others who might achieve double-doubles sporadically.

Actually averaging a double double compared to a triple double is greater. You really don’t know about basketball.

@bethcoleman-oliver6828 triple double means double digits in 3 stats, you understand that right? 33/34 done in the league for all time and rebounds and shots happen like 11,000 times a year. I don't know, to me, double doubles sound easy, especially when you continually rebound your own missed shots. Oh, and, I played the sport so please do tell me I just dont understand.

Not really because one person can get a triple double in one game to break that double double record you have to do it in 15 straight Russell Westbrook average one for two years in a row and he still don’t get his just do double doubles for two months straight that’s hard

@@bethcoleman-oliver6828 if you doing it, consecutively like Angel is doing yes way harder rookie next year can step in the first game and get a triple double in there you go Triple double record is tied for rookies only took one game. I can see Paige doing it next year, so yeah the double double streak is way harder.

    1. Caitlin Really needs to hit the gym/weights, she's physically too thin and does NOT Have the Stamina to go 100% the entire game. She's gives her all but just runs out of steam into the 4th quarter. 2. Sides needs to go, she is a HORRIBLE coach, too many times Caitlin (and other team members) are standing there with their thumbs up their butts because they have No clue what to do in Any situation. 3. Caitlin needs to fully understand that when on the floor SHE Is the Captain. The other players are trying to follow her lead because they are lost and Fully understand they're NOT going to get guidance from the bench. With No coaching it's like the blind trying to lead the blind.
