Think it this way, it's the first time we see her, but it's definitely not the first day she's a dancing/singing. She was a trainee in the company that means she probably practice all available dances (Kara's) alot too, that's what trainees do, coz they don't have their own songs.

you have to have patience. it was a marketing strategy, if they gave her a lot of lines the fandom would claim that they replaced nicole and jiyoung. so youngji has to buil her way, her own character and personality, bit by bit, so we dont feel betrayed. for example, in the step performance they did, youngji had a lot of lines. its not like they want to shadow her, its just that things have to be built slowly to give time to the fandom to adjust and to fully accept her and support her.
dont worry she will have more lines soon (; in fact, ithink people are adjusting just fine to her. specially with her appearance in roommate, she is adorable, she is hardworking, very naive, yet very bold, and her silent alligator laugh is to die for xD we just need to have patience ^^

Um no she's not. Most K-pop girls are far too skinny while Youngji has a healthy looking body. She still fits in with the Korean standard so I doubt she's fat.
no. asians are naturally/biologically skinnier than other races. our countries have to lowest rates of obesity among the modern world. by our standards, she's fat. to westerners she's 'normal' but to asians she's fat. likewise, when foreigners come to asian countries we tend to view them as fat as well. its like when white people say that asian men 'look soft' or 'feminine'. they can keep their opinion, but asian objective says otherwise. and you can say kpop stars are 'far too skinny' but the truth is they're 'normal' in asia. you should see for yourself rather than using your western scope as the standard. this is asian entertainment afterall.
I posted that comment based on my friend's views, a friend that LIVES in Korea, was BORN AND RAISED in Korea, who IS Korean. Many Koreans think the same; they all say that the other girls in the group should put on some weight because Youngji is perfect in comparison. My "western view" has nothing to do with it.

I can't even imagine how weird it would be in Youngji's position, going from trainee to entering one of the biggest girl groups of all time. They didn't do a lot after she joined but at least she got to be there for this comeback, which was one of their best.

I love LOVE youngji but sometimes i wonder how she got into kara. She's adorable and fun and down to earth, but i noticed that she messes up a lot and doesn't quite know what to do with her face on stage yet. She's got a long way to go, but i'm glad she's here. :) Youngji FIGHTING! She can do this.

Hara looks amazing but why does she look so tired? Please rest up or something. Her parts were lip synced&it was kind of disappointing. Did anyone else feel this way or is it just me? Lol
i think all of them lip synched. they have been working their asses off, their schedule has been busy as fvck they have been doing a butload of variety shows (which is a strategy to make youngji feel more used to the kpop industry and to make k-fans accept). farmore, they must be preparing their performances for their japanese tour. so they are probably not having enough time of sleep. so its not as simple as you think, they cant just "rest up or something".
I know they can't just rest up and it's not that simple. I was just sayin they deserve a break by now. Maybe a day or two off. But their hard work will all pay off in the future.

Man, this group is awesome!!! I thought T-ARA was good, but this group is way better!! Their dance moves are way tougher than any group I've seen so far. It takes a lot of energy to go what they do. Even if it is for this one song! You try doing this yourself if you think I'm full of it! Just looking and trying to imitate their moves tired me out in the beginning.

Awesome, absolutely awesome. One of the best groups out there.
What I haven't figured out is why this song didn't have a better showing against "Mr. Mr." (SNSD). And 2NE1 really didn't do it for me this year.
KARA lost some fans and I guess that's a factor, but they weren't true KAMILIAs anyway, and it's unfortunate they were so shortsighted. Maybe timing was a factor as well.
I like the new incarnation, but I still miss Nicole and JiYoung as KARA members.
