I have the the 1st generation Apple Pencil and I charge it like your phone. It so much easier than charging it with your iPad.

Thank you, for this excellent video unboxing of your new "pink" basic iPad 10th generation model. It was different to see someone learn about a new device as they were unboxing it, and trying to use it (very refreshing). Also, glad to see that you are using your iPad's and your design skills as a slide business. My only correction from your presentation was calling this the "old" iPad (it is newer than the current iPad Air model). The older basic iPad model is what, I own a 9th generation. To turn it into a laptop like system with a keyboard and track-pad, I use a Logitech Combo Touch. In addition, the older basic iPad 9th generation still has a home button, headphone jack, supports Apple's "Center Stage" function during video calls, charges and pairs the Apple first generation pencil directly through the lighting port, and works well with all of my already owned lighting adapters (smile...smile).
Julia you inspired me to get into my life and get out there and try so many new things! I love your channel and you are so beautiful and lucky you get to experience this! Thx so much for all your help❤

I have also in pink.the magnet is on the left side to hold the pencil, though im using a non apple pencil but it holds nicely

I am currently on an iPad 8th Generation in the gold colour (I love the gold so much) but I recently purchased an iPad Air 5th Gen in Space Grey- which I haven’t started using yet but will upgrade to. I will tell you I was honestly so torn between different models out right now because while I use my iPad ALL the time (even more so than my phone) I use it fairly basically (internet browsing and shopping, streaming videos etc.) and I’ve never really had an issue with older models and more base level IPads. It was a battle between the price, colour, some of the features (not all are relevant for me) and the longevity haha. I did get a deal on the Air though I think I would’ve been more hesitant if it wasn’t on sale. The bright pink is so pretty though! 😭

I just posted a comment about how I was so torn when choosing which one to go for. I am a long time iPad user but a fairly basic iPad user in terms of tasks I need it to handle and features. When I was researching lots of reviews I started to love the new pink so much and of course it s a bit cheaper but I did ultimately decide to go with the IPad Air in Space Grey which I am hoping will offer good longevity being the M1 chip. I feel you though! It’s so tough choosing when there are so many features to consider and what’s most important to you.

Go with the air! I chose that one and so glad I did, especially for Apple Pencil reasons lol
ONE TIP! Not being rude to Julia but she made a mistake when purchasing her iPad, if u won’t use the cellar data, u can get the iPad with no cellular and save about 30 to 50 dollars on the purchase! Otherwise amazing video as always!
From apple you would save about 100 dollars.
also buying it with 256gb, she did mention it was for school so i’m positive you won’t be needing THAT much storage, including the cellular and storage, she could’ve saved around 150$.
Maybe she needs a cellular one. The cellular models of the iPad must fulfil some kind of niche otherwise Apple wouldn't be selling one in such a configuration.
@@izzylollllI think the 256g is perfect for school it’s always better to get extra strorage just in case bc there isn’t rly an easy way to upgrade ur storage on iPad like u can on iphone. But cellular is definitely not a need.

Apple was lazy with Apple Pencil. The 10th should’ve supported the Apple Pencil 2 then using the outdated gen 1 🤦♂️ but! I have the purple iPad Air 5th gen and I love it 🩷 gotta Match my 14 pro max purple as well

I still don’t understand the logic of launching iPad 10th generation because their Air series is amazing. I use Air 4 and I don’t feel like upgrading because it’s super fabulous and much easier to use with great battery

I like how you charge your Apple pencil on a cable that termjnates with the dongle. That, in my opinion, looks more elegant than plugging it directly into the charging port like we used to when they had lightning ports. I am actually considering buying an iPad like that, except I'm going for the WiFi only variation as my iPad 6th Generation is slowly dying as the updates invade the storage chip and the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like.

I have the 1st gen Apple Pencil, I lost the adapter and I charge it by placing it directly on the iPad charging port. 🫠 not sure if that is even okay. But it works 🥲 and now I’m tempted to upgrade my iPad 😫

You are so talented! The way you just created wallpaper from scratch super quickly and them being super cute was so cool. The pink on this iPad is stunning, I wish they would have another Apple Pencil to work with it this one is just annoying. Maybe it’s an iPad better for people who won’t use the pencil as much.
