I was writing my PhD thesis when this album dropped and "Glitter and Crimson" became my go to song because it somehow got me through all of the emotions of being not good enough and fighting my way back up and keep going. I love how it has these different phases to it and how it builds up until it explodes in the end. I really can feel how Alex screams and how this somehow lifted my spirit every time I hear this part. Thanks a lot for this awesome song, this awesome album and for this track by track. I love it! Thanks!
Clumsy is by far my favorite song on the album, and I definitely think that a big part of that is because it just IS an All Time Low song through and through. I love this album so much.
Not sure how possible this could be, but could you guys do breakdowns with other ATL albums? Would be interesting to hear a breakdown on an album like SWIR, Don’t Panic, or Future Hearts!
I absolutely love these because they are so so helpful for my music tech a level, we’ve got an exam in a couple weeks and I’m counting this as revision
Glitter & Crimson is my personal favorite track on the album. I remember excitedly listening through this album and loving every track and then getting to Glitter & Crimson and turning repeat 1 on for like 5 playthroughs lol. And as a drummer, I'll say the drum beat in this song was stuck in my head for weeks. It's cool to hear Rian talk about stuff
I loved hearing you guys talk about Basement Noise because that's one of my favorites on this album and hearing you guys talk about the story behind the lyrics made me smile. I loved this series, really cured my quarantine boredom ❤️
It's actually so interesting to see and hear all the little things that happens while making an atl record maybe one day I'll be able to produce as well as this
Also, i love how people thought Jason Lancaster was singin' on the last record when it turns out it's just a perfect pitch alex with a fake British accent singing back ups ;) hahah
I have absolutely loved watching these track by tracks! It's so interesting to hear those little stories of how the songs and the whole album came together, and just the thoughtprocess behind interesting little parts in the songs. I really love this kind of behind the scenes of the production and recording of the songs, thank you guys!
this album is getting me through quarantine so its very nice to take a deeper look at how it was made! your lyrics always speak to me in a way that no other band ever did and probably will never do. also, i cant wait to see glitter and crimson live!!! sending love from brazil 💛💛
decided to re-listen to all of these and i'm surprised that they've never used "if you have the cigarette i'll get the sticks" as a lyric. rian says it at 11:07
thank you for doing this! to everyone- the boys, the producers, the featuring artists and the fans, wake up sunshine has been an unforgettable experience. lots of love
I love you guys so much! I honestly can't wait til you finally end up going on tour after everything clears up. I've been dying to see you guys live and I literally just can't wait for that opportunity to happen
this was so cool to watch! really interesting to see all the little things that go into making a song and an album especially if like me you know fuckall about music production 🙃 i wish more bands would do this to be honest. also it’s neat to hear various instruments broken down into their separate parts, it makes it sound less daunting to learn how to play 😂
Thanks again for sharing this!! Question (maybe I will get lucky and someone will answer ;)), when working on an album, how many songs (if any) get “thrown out”? I’ve always wondering about that. I think Michael Jackson wrote many songs for thriller.
Alex bothers the music nerd in me. A counter melody is a different rhythm that you play at the same time as the melody. (like on the last chorus of damned if i do ya when the background vocals are singing "cause you left me...)
Did I watched +3 hours of All Time Low talking about Wake Up, Sunshine?
*_yes_*
The fact that This video is exactly an hour long makes me so happy
I have very strong feelings for the G&C bridge 😍
My favorite part of all these videos is when the band members hear things that they didn't even know were in their own songs
These things are so wholesome and nice to watch honestly
0:05 January Gloom (Seasons, Pt. 1)
14:36 Clumsy
28:13 Glitter & Crimson
40:51 Summer Daze (Seasons, Pt. 2)
51:00 Basement Noise
Thanks
Ta ka!!
Salamat! Kailangan ko ito ngayon
Clumsy is my FAVORITE song on the record and hearing the layers on it makes me SO happy.
SAME
38:00 Alex's solo vocals on Glitter & Crimson... *CHILLS*
FUCKING HELL, imagine if there wasn’t an instrumental in the actual song. 😀
I want to hear Glitter and Crimson live so so so so badly

is 29:16 muted or it's just me?
Mati Cordaro it’s muted for me too :(
Me as well
yup
It was muted for me too
I almost thought it's my headphones' problem or the internet
Thank you so much guys.
Summer Daze is one of your best songs in years.
Clumsy is by far my favorite song on the album, and I definitely think that a big part of that is because it just IS an All Time Low song through and through. I love this album so much.

Only me thinking bout Party Scene?
The "yeah yeah's" were essential. Almost called the cops before that line
The true heroes of quarantine
So excited to hear you guys talk about the seasons songs honestly, just like every track on this album was so interesting and real ☀️

Anyone else lose sound at around 29:30?
Glitter & Crimson bridge is going to be insane live
ATL FAN HERE FROM PHILIPPINES SINCE 2013. MORE POWER BOIS!!♥️
You guys put so much emotion and humour in talking about your music it really makes me happy ❤️
Like Rian's brother, I'm stupid when it comes to music. But these videos made me feel like I actually learned something. Loved these!
I loved hearing you guys talk about Basement Noise because that's one of my favorites on this album and hearing you guys talk about the story behind the lyrics made me smile. I loved this series, really cured my quarantine boredom ❤️
Loving watching you all talking about how each song came about. And it was written
THANK YOU
Itd be so cool if you did this with the rest of your albums
idk if they still have access to those files
I was just asking about this today! Thanks, guys.
I love this album so much and the breakdown of it is making me appreciate it so much more.

Which song??
I love January Gloom ❤
Great job on the album ATL! Thank you for the videos talking about making the songs here too. Very interesting to see how the songs were recorded.
I’m a sound engineer myself, all of this is extremely helpful insight for music or future artist I’ll record.

Could listen to these for every album. So good

thank you for doing this! to everyone- the boys, the producers, the featuring artists and the fans, wake up sunshine has been an unforgettable experience. lots of love
This was so amazing to watch and listen to. Thank you 1000
I love you guys so much
Pleeeeease do these track by tracks for every future album!! (and maybe every past one while you're at it...)
Thank you guys so much for doing this. Such an amazing album.
I love your guy’s music so much
Cool thank you for sharing this, always wondered what you guys use for songs
I love this so, so much.
Love these videos so much
There‘s NO way you guys are here, I literally JUST listened to Dead to Me, wtf 😳
@@alixd183 Yoo, that could be coincidence... or we work for the government and planned it all :) Thanks for listening
Was waiting for this.
I love you guys so much! I honestly can't wait til you finally end up going on tour after everything clears up. I've been dying to see you guys live and I literally just can't wait for that opportunity to happen
This is gonna be great
GLITTER AND CRIMSON 😍😍😍

Yesssss
I love this content so much Zacks funny yeah yeah moment for basement noise tho
Me needs a 10 hour loop of the vocal breath-y notes in basement noise THANKS
That one part that was kinda sick reminded me of something' Jack might do, if Jack were to describe it ya know?
(Love y'all)
-Jack
Would be too much if i ask this pro tools session for download?
Love these so much!
i love you nerds thank you for this
Damn ATL fans are spoiled 💛💛💛
10:54 holy John Bonham inspiration. Sounds like Whole Lotta Love
is there a piano cover of Clumsy somewhere because Swank's piano work on that song kind of break me a little bit.
PLEASE DO BREAK DOWNS LIKE THIS FOR ALL THE ALBUMS?? I WILL SELL YOU MY FIRST BORN
🖤🖤🖤🖤
Cervini's mic was on mute at 29:17 😔
I'm not sure it was, because surely the others would notice?
Thanks again for sharing this!! Question (maybe I will get lucky and someone will answer ;)), when working on an album, how many songs (if any) get “thrown out”? I’ve always wondering about that. I think Michael Jackson wrote many songs for thriller.
summer daze is the song of the summer fight me
💛

Will you guys be putting out official B-Sides for the album?
Not like they have for the last three albums
at 29:14 is it just me or can i not hear cervini talking?
can't hear it
neither can I
Does Zack sing background vocals on the tracks or just live??
Yeiiii
You did not edit out alter daddy😳
we wouldn't have been able to appreciate how terrible it sounds if they had, though. Truly a gift in disguise.
me waiting for someone to tell Cervini he's muted 👁👄👁
I’m like half an hour in and I don’t think Zach has spoken yet lol
Zack needs a better microphone
He was using AirPods so it’s sorta predictable
38:00 thank me later
