The former Late President Lon Nol who had past away in 1960 for his chronic illness was a patriotic nationalist, politician and leader amongst his fellow citizens although he was wrongly described by his many opposition government elites and members as the worst leading leader in Cambodia history, many Cambodian citizens described him as a traitor and destroyer of the Cambodian nation. He was not a traitor but a true patriotic leader and nationalist who has fought and brought significant political changes to his many Cambodian citizens than the worst leading Khmer Rouge leader Pot Pol who has committed massive killings and murderouses against his many Cambodian citizens during the Khronom Khmer civil wartimes in Cambodia.

He received money from USA and overthrew Sihanouk, made cambodia mess then left his people and ran away when Khmer Rouge came in Phnompenh in 1975. So what kind of hero he is? How did he save cambodia?

There was corruption on a very high level during Lon Nol administration and very incompent they are but if the army of Lon Nol and the Khmer Rouge had paired up instead of killing each to fight the Viets we probably we have lasted alot longer. But don't forget Lon Nol was fighting Russia and China as well. The real enemy is Sihanouk
