Holy cow. I've put an insane amount of work into insignificant things. And I'm glad I did because I learned alot. And I would not put this much work into a plastic bottle. Amazing skilz!
It's always amazing to watch how you're working! Thanks for sharing! I'm only surprised that you don't use any reference, do you really remember all this details about a bottle? 😉
Top menu bar > View > Component Edit > Hide rest of model a complete tutorial on this topic available on my channel with this name - Sketchup Hide Rest of Model Quick Tip
Try This --------------------------------------------------------------------- onStart{ layer = Sketchup.active_model.layers['light'] # Click to hide the layer named with light onClick{ layer.visible = false } # DoubleClick to unhide the layer named with light onLButtonDoubleClick{ layer.visible = true } }
What's the point doing a tutorial when all I see is you doing a model... No explanation on the specific tool you are making use of,... Just clicking on button.... It annoying.... Communication is needed

Do your bottle-tops really screw on/off in that direction? In the U.S. it goes the other way.
