Love ya Beats Antique thank you for including Persian influence in your music. For those who don't know fun fact about this awesome band is they were at one point a band for a Persian/Middle Eastern joint and Zoey was the bellydancer for the place and they formed this band made a bellydancing album then shortly later evolved into the Beats Antique we know and love today. One of the coolest bands! Come back to Philly whenever you can!
And we can thank the Bellydance Superstars producer! Miles Copeland gave Zoe the opportunity to get the band together. They were performing with the Yarddogs Roadshow at the time.
The build up to 1:20 is phenomenal and pays off right when it should. It feels like I already knew it somehow but I know I've never heard it before. If you have had that "thing" happen to you, then you know what I'm trying to say. It's familiar but also new. I've only felt that with like 3 songs in my life. What a great and appreciated surprise to have that happen again with this powerful song.
It was a joy to share the stage with so much talent! Thank you Zoe for this incredible experience. I can't wait to dance with you all again --- Red Zurna is in my heart forever!
This was an amazing production!!! Love the Middle Eastern music, the photography, the dancing, all the beautiful, talented women!! Thank you for sharing this art with us!!❤❤❤❤❤
Cool song and choreo, interesting with the overhead view, but my ballet girls would *lose their minds* if they had to deal with the marley like that. At least this troupe were all barefoot.
I hope you guys have room for choreography at Pappy and Harriets. I noticed the show got moved inside to the small stage because of the Chet Faker show same day, which was disappointing. I wanted to dance under the stars.
Thank you for creating innovative music and spectacles that remain with humanity and beyond.
