Growing up with alcohol being always there, I’ve been a long term drinker since a teenager. I no longer got smashed but I was a regular, almost nightly drinker of a few glasses of wine with my meals with my husband. This year I decided to quit alcohol for a while as I was starting to get anxiety and it was affecting me in so many ways after 30 years of regular drinking. I wat aches your videos religiously to help inspire me and get me through. I have now spent the most part of the year not drinking. I have had long periods of complete abstinence followed by a few drinks creeping back in here and there on special occasions. Each time I have lapsed it’s getting easier to get back on track because I feel better for not drinking. Whenever I lapse I watch your videos again. I tell anyone who says they are struggling to watch your videos. The videos I was particularly interested in to start with were the short term benefits to health, skin, weight loss etc. These really inspired me, a lot. Have you done a video relating to faith/spirituality and alcohol?
Thanks Leon, may the Lord bless your endeavours.

Interesting, the moving to asia thing and having a GF there and wanting to start some other way of earning my money than working 7 to 5 was the thing i did before covid hit and i really started drinking as my main thing i'd do, because i couldn't see my girl again and i was getting more and more tired of video calling every day.. then she left meafter the covid thing was almost over because i changed and i was mostly around alcoholics from then on... after some years of that and some bad relationships i finally decided again it's never gonna get me into a place i want to be, so i quit all of that and now I'm just isolating and distracting myself, I try to get financially stable to spend some money on other hobbies/courses where i'll be able to meet some new people and learn new skills. I really want a good relationship and a way to make money that suits me. That's what i try to work on.

After almost 2.5 years without a sip or toke, I'll be trying to be stricter in applying first principles to food. After all, alcohol does nothing good, same with junk food. The exception there will be when I am doing or just finished very long walks, like 20 miles plus. In that situation, I think consuming some 'faster' calories is reasonable. I did a 27 miler this year at age 68, the goal for next summer is a 50 km (31 miles).

My entire existence is characterized by profound suffering, filled with deep despair and marked by a constant sense of anguish characterized by overwhelming distress and relentless misery. 😒

I want to learn AI (Artificial Intelligence). Surprisingly, I am for legalizing alcohol and tobacco worldwide even though I don't smoke/drink myself.
I am a deregulation take it easy type of guy. I make my own fruit juices and lemonades and I think I have fun that way too.
My goal is finding local friends and broadening my travelscape. Getting some vehicle to move from places.
I also like real estate and banking. I'm not a sporty type but I want to address my fear of icy roads. This could be a more realistic goal. Extending the time of the year I could spend outside would be brilliant. I would want to seek friends who motivate me to do this.
