I know this was just a collection of video clips but it was super nice to see some of the things that happen as a first-year student. I am going to be a first-year at U of G in September so it was nice to see that you can still have fun and it was also nice to see some lecture halls and how the campus looks during different seasons :)
So I am applying to Guelph for Sep intake ( Masters of environmental engineering) I applied in early December. Do you have any Idea when I may get a reply from them? My problem is that I applied to Windsor and guelph, but guelph is my first choice, so if Windsor accepts me early I will have 21 days to accept, so I wont be able to wait for my admission results from guelph.
Hey! I think I received my admission in March but that was for undergrad, so I think it might be a little different for Masters students. I think you should be able to email admissions and get an estimate of when you’ll hear back. Good luck with everything!
In the first semester I took BIOL 1080, CHEM 1040, PHYS 1080, CALC 1080, and FRENCH 1200, they were hard but you just got to get through it. In the second semester I took BIOL 1070+1090, CHEM 1050, PHYS 1070, and CRIM 1500. Most Biomedical Science students take these core courses, it is a challenging first year but when you get through it the other courses you take are far more enjoyable.
@@lilymackenzie3624 what is your major? And can you major in any of the biological sciences then change to biomedical science in 2nd year if you don't get accepted to biomedical science in 1st year.
LMFAOOO not the girls cutting each other’s hair 😭😭 honestly Guelph looks like so much fun I want to go this sept. May I ask which residence you lived in and ur experience? Also where did you move out in the end?
Hi! We lived in Johnston residence in the biomed cluster, and we loved it! First year is definitely quite the experience, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. After we found a house in Guelph and all lived together. I couldn’t recommend Guelph enough, it is a fantastic school and you really get the university vibe from campus. Good luck!
@@lilymackenzie3624 hi I’m considering biomed so I was looking at Guelph videos. How was your experience? As for residence as a biomed student is that a good location? What’s the biomed cluster?
seriously this video attracts students more than the original university advertisement

Is this university good for computer science undergrad??
I would say so! I only knew one person in the computer science program but it seemed challenging and well respected.
