That wouldn't work. Everyone's name is a pun. By that logic she'd turn Krillin into Chestnuts, Yamcha into dimsum, Tenshinhan into crabmeat omlet on rice, Beerus into a bottle of Beer. and so on. Granted she wouldn't change characters named after items or appliances I guess (Freeza, Trunks, Cell, Piccolo) but half of the cast would be different foods.

While you do have a point, and it would make a great reference to the odd theme naming that currently exists. It would not really work for a character that already has an established massive sweet tooth (which is apparently a Majin thing).
That said.... Goku and Vegata being jawbreakers would have made me laugh. Missed opportunity there.

Android 21 is DAMN AWESOME and I love her voice actor. Max screwed up a little though: The first two absorbed move slots are the QCF move, first slot is ground, second slot is air. The second two slots are the QCB move, third slot being ground, and fourth slot being air. You obviously gain these moves by landing her Cutter grab using the appropriate joystick motion and being either on the ground or in the air. His wording was confusing overall in this section.
If anyone's wondering what specific characters give you what moves:
BLUE MOVES: Goku (SS), Goku (SSB), Goku Black, Gohan (Adult), Gohan (Teen), Krillin, Tien, Yamcha
GREEN MOVES: Cell, Android 16, Android 18, Android 21
YELLOW MOVES: Vegeta (SS), Vegeta (SSB), Trunks, Gotenks, Nappa
PURPLE MOVES: Piccolo, Frieza, Majin Buu, Kid Buu, Captain Ginyu, Hit, Beerus
Should be pretty easy to guess which of these groups future DLC characters would go into. (Broly, for example, could be in Yellow moves, as he's a Saiyan and a former Goku foe)
Legend says Tien will have his own breakdown one day...
The Majin form looks pretty good, but I was really looking forward to playing 21's android form. Here's hoping.

It’s actually cool that she entirely eats them if she kills with the level 3 like she likes the taste, while she throws them away half eaten if she didn’t kill like she hated it. It also does 50% damage raw, kinda coinciding with her eating half of whatever dessert it was she transformed them into

Its a Japanese thing. This character is obviously a fan service type, at least partially. And traditionally in Japan one of the more attractive qualities of a woman is a high pitched voice.
Majin's typically seem to have high voices. The only exception is Super Buu, who is really just an amalgamation of a bunch of Kais and Buu himself.

On another note Tien really has the worst luck, he's finally about to get his breakdown but gets pushed back because Max actually got footage of maybe the most interesting character on the roster, dude just can't catch a break.
She's the same thing as Cell. She has the dna of all races including Majin, which is why she is pink and has candy beam.

I'm surprised that Max said nothing about how her heavy attack in the air does *not* spike her opponent to the ground like everyone else so far, meaning that you have to use her quarter back command to send them back down.
P.S: I'm very curious how they're going to determine which specials any new DLC characters will give her...
She's basically the Combot, Unknown, Kirby mishmash character of the roster. Android? Check. Buu? Check. Scientist? Check. Girl? Check. I don't like the character lore wise because it makes no sense, but hey gameplay wise that doesn't really matter so

I think this character is really cool from a gameplay perspective, but it seems to me like the story reasoning for her to have a majin transformation might be contrived. I hope I'm wrong.
I think she's supposed to be a mix of Frieza (Tail), Androids, and Majin. She's basically a better version of Cell as 16 says
Daily reminder Androids in DBZ is just a catch all term for any artificial humanoid. This includes actual robots (Androids 1-16 and 19), cyborgs/augmented humans (17, 18, and Dr. Gero) and "bio androids" (Cell and 21)

Well it's cool that she has traits of the cells she's copied from. Unlike Cell... who looks nothing like the characters he's supposedly derived from.
its not it actually makes sense she is the last android to be made following the events of DBZ so she (already having Cell as a basis also has Frieza and Majin Buu as part of her DNA
Actually the fact that she has Buu in her DNA basically is what causes the whole story because it Buus cells starts going out of control giving her the desire to turn everyone into sweets and devour them
Also if she use her food transformation to defeat an enermy, she eats the whole food without tossing it away.

When I first saw Android 21, she's like the fusion version of Kokonoe and her mother Konoe in Blazblue, which is obvious because this game was made by Arc System. However, I wasn't expected Android 21's voice to be very childish, I guess they don't want her voice to be mature since many will compare to her to either Kokonoe or Konoe, but it's too late anyway.

OOO! Team “Everyone Else” Where you focus on your opponent’s characters! Majin 21, Ginyu, and....I guess Cell. Basically with Ginyu you have to know everyone else’s play style for the body switch, 21 needs to know some of everyone else’s specials for her absorption, and Cell has a couple of moves from other Androids I guess.

She's Cell 2.0. She absorbs and takes on characteristics of all the other Z fighters, including Buu which is why she is pink and can turn people into sweets.

I'm definitely going to try every character, but my team will always have Frieza, and Cell in them so the open slot will depend on who I like best in the rest of the roster. I'm leaning towards Vegeta for now cuz of how fun he was in the beta, but I'll just wait till the full release.
