2 years late but I don't care. I wish they let you get 60% flying in the game and then for epic you have to force yourself through Pathfinder. That'd be a great compromise. Also as far as Peep's Whistle I wish I was there to say my piece, but if you can link it in the in-game chat I think it counts as in the game. You can link Peep's from Wowhead.

Azmon’s wrong about Peep’s Whistle. There are playable classes in the game files that will likely never be a playable race. Hence those races are not in the game as a playable race. There are a lot of mounts that have made it into the game files that have never made it into the game. Being in the game files is not the same as being in the game.
I think Azmon’s view of the word “game” is askew. Games are meant to be PLAYED. So if you can’t PLAY IT, it isn’t part of the game.
But let’s just put it this way. . .
Ammon: “Peep’s Whistle was in the game files, therefor it was in the game.”
Also Azmon: “The Brewfest Kodo was only in the game files, therefor it wasn’t part of the game rewards.”

i'm pretty sure you can't fly in bloodmyst isle, isle of quel'danas and eversong woods though, surely?

True, but the question was wether those 4 specificly are no fly zones or not. He didn't ask if those were the only ones. There are more no fly zones apart from the ones you mentioned and the ones in the video. Lost Isles, Kezan, you could consider Wintergrasp and things like that too because it dismounts you if you fly over them etc.

That is true. You can't fly in any of the Draenei or Blood Elf starter zones. Isle of Quel'Danas didn't allow flying either. It was Outland only in TBC.
