One of my favorite episodes you've done... I got back on a bike last year and sent my son on a 165 mile xc mountain bike trip and it totally changed him, had him join a youth cyclocross team a few months later and this year we did a youth mountain bike team with the same people and some others, and while he's still clearly new and also hasn't hit that point where he can really push himself past those walls, he's growing into it....doesn't love the bike but he does enjoy it. The bonding time makes it all worth it, you almost don't realize it until they're teenagers but you've got them until they're 18 and then not so much, so the time we spend together is priceless! Anyway, you're doing awesome job with him!
I have family in the Marana area and last time I was out there we drove up Mt. Lemon. I can't imagine biking up it...but man what a beautiful area to ride.
Dude, I don't know if you know this, but you are the cycling version of Eric Anders Lang with adventures in golf. Your intro, your voiceovers, and even look like a long lost brother. Crazy.
Tyler, I play toys with my daughter and it’s the best! I still have trucks from when I was a kid and we lay on the foot and play for hours. Your a rockstar for being confident enough to share thar
it's so refreshing to see a good father out there loving on their kid and holding it down. from all the hard working father's out there well done and thanks for representing!
Your son sees that you are strong, or at least a strong rider. That in itself is a huge part in making him a great adult. He will look back and see you beeing a tough man and that will inspire him.
Fun fact of the day: my family (last name Pearce) lives in the Tucson/Oro valley area and my brother and I (his first name Tyler) ride everywhere around here and whenever you (also Tyler Pearce) do something really cool we like to joke that it's our Tyler doing all the stuff you're doing, Like " oh Tyler just won Ultra Distance national chams" just to mess with him and it's just allot of fun..... also, we were at 24HOP and the TBC stage race and it was fun watching you throw down.
Thank you so much for your inspiring, fun, full of rad dad content videos! I do endurance spin sessions for 3-6 hours and your videos keep me going. 6 days in AZ was awesome!! I liked that you combined several of them for a fab binge session. Oh, and love the pink hoodie!! I met you at the time trial in Borrego Springs last year, although I just did the 12 hour. Going back to do it again this year. Hope to see you there if it's on your schedule!
I'm loving the Tucson vids. I live in Tucson, and I was watching your Strava while you were here. I was camped out near the 24 hour course. Didn't see ya, but ended up seeing you out on a road ride. I wanted to say hi but you were doing your thing. After seeing your Mt Lemmon Strava, it motivated me to finally check that ride off my list. So thanks for that. Your boy is awesome. I hope he follows in your footsteps, and I can't wait to watch his content if he starts down that path.
Dude love watching these from one Dad to another. So glad you're back every time I see a new one. Love the Dad aspect of your films. I am going through the identical thing with my two boys. I still play Hot Wheels with my boys - we are car lovers too. And I still bring my skateboard with me - don't ever grow up bud. I can tell you won't. Pizza with the Boyz! Can't wait for tomorrow to see the next stage (no pun intended). Going on the site cuz I need a new Ride all the Bikes T-shirt. BTW was at my son's track meet on Friday (he won the 200 against all 4 Elementary Schools!) and I was asked several times about my Ride Bikes hoodie and if I 'ride all the bikes'. Thanks Tyler.
Great video, Tyler, and no question that your son has an awesome father and big picture, lots of us at his age could never even dream of riding anything motorized, even if we had fathers who were professionals in motorsports themselves. And no knock, it was their deal, and it made me ever thankful I had my Sting-Ray and made the most of it. 😀
I remember my first “big ride” with my dad. It was 16 miles with 20mph winds. I learned how to draft that day. It was really brutal. I was about 12. A couple of weeks later we did a 50 mile ride with a 3/4 tailwind. It was an easy ride compared to the first one. I miss him.
Its taken a long time, years, for my 13 year old to realise that he can push himself on a bike and that he doesn't have to give up as soon as he feels a bit tired. Now he finally gets it and understands why I made him ride up the hills instead of shuttling him up like all his mates. As a result of all that his fitness and ability to keep going is way above that of his peers who are purely focused on the downhill. Now he loves his XC and CX racing. He's not so keen on the road bike, but I think that will come in time.
This is going to be good!! Quality beats quantity, just finished re-watching your TLAP21 vlog on how to make good cycling vids, a great depiction of the creative process with the Level 1-4 MTB shots.
I really admire the honest way you talk about your relation with your family. It takes a lot of courage to expose your feelings and doubts like that. It surely makes you a greater man, dad and husband. Kudos!
If you get a chance check out the Upper Fifty Year trail and the Shoots. Stocked your out this way. My brother and I dig your vibe. You inspire us a lot. So cool you got your son with you. Keep up the good work on the videos. And better yet. Great job on all the progress you have done. Crazy Safely...
I remember my first proper ride with my dad was only about 10 miles now just about every weekend before he got injured we do 60 miles together and we’ve done a ton of ultra races and stage races together this time with your son means more to him than it does to you even if it doesn’t seem that way
The Wife Kicks A$$ - Play Bikes - Ride Bikes - Bro, You Know This Already But I Am Proud Of You For Providing The Opportunities For Opening Doors For Your Son - Congrats On Breaking The Cycle Stay Strong , Cheers
Still see him as that 5yo who won a triathlon. Where does the time go? -U10 PS - put my kids trailer jogger stroller up for sale last night and it was hard. why? Well because you know they don’t fit in anymore. how they grow.
I totally get this. Sadly, my 12yr old son crashed on his first real mtb park blue trail, and broke his collarbone after waiting all winter for it to open. Im absolutely gutted for hm, and I feel total shit for it too. He’s still up for it now, but I still feel like total crap for him.
talk to me goose! hot af first ride and idk what to wear. . . drink water but what aouuutt when you're out and no is there and you're in the red??? well do your best, i think. post ride andd after ridde report? like yeah i'm thrashed too! and building that common ground makes it less hard next time cause it's easy when you already know? also large fan of ddynamic movement and stretches for recovery. it's does get better #postride maple syrup mango juice #tyreslayer
Tyler, how are you so freaking muscular, what's up with that? I mean I get that you are on the sigma grindset but have you been lifting weights or something? 😄
Dude I love your videos, but if my dad went on a social media platform that all of my middle school friends could see and told 200,000 subscribers that he sometimes thought I was 'soft', I would be so pissed off. I'm sure he said it was okay when you asked if he could post that, because as a son you want to make your dad proud and happy with you, but kids his age can be incredibly cruel and I think you're setting him up to get bullied if anyone at his school sees this vlog. You and your son's relationship and his willingness to appear on TH-cam is your business, not mine- but this is just my two cents. Sometimes storytelling has to take a back seat
Your own insecurities prompted this comment, because in this video all I see is a dad hyping up his son, expressing his concern that, compared to him and what he would want, his son may be soft, but then spends the rest of the film showing us how strong his son really is and how much he has learned. The fact that you latched on to one sentence speaks more about you than Tyler or anyone else.
gotta feel for the kid, unlike his father he doesn't seem the attention seeking type. have a real issue with attention seeking youtubers using their children in grabbing some likes. what rights does the kid have in all this? what about in 10 years time when he's an adult how will he feel about this exposure?? what real permissions can a kid give to this type of exposure?? doesn't sit right at all. maybe wait until they are consenting adults?
The world needs more dads like Tyler.

Playing w/ your kids, regardless of age, is one of the greatest pastimes! Playing w/ your kids on a bike, even better!!! 🤘
"Dude I feel so bonded to you."
Aaaaaaaaaand I'm bawling. 😭
Love that you & your son play with motorcycle toys! Thats so COOL, Tyler!!!!
it's so refreshing to see a good father out there loving on their kid and holding it down. from all the hard working father's out there well done and thanks for representing!
Vloggggggg!!!!!!. You guys are my Three Amigos, God damn I'm so happy there's five more coming
Big bikes, little bikes…play ALL the bikes my dude. We are here for it.
Your son sees that you are strong, or at least a strong rider. That in itself is a huge part in making him a great adult. He will look back and see you beeing a tough man and that will inspire him.

I've been following you for so long, like 8-9 years I can't remember. It's great to see you ride with your son! Always love your content.
I can totally relate to this VC. I have a 13yr old as well and they need this type of activity and guidance. Thank you.
tht kid is amazing...the riding he does, willy is simply wonderful.you been great parent .nice video.
Tyler, you do plenty of ‘adulting’. Never lose lose your inner child! And all the more fun to have with your children!!! 🎉❤ Vegan pedal power! 💪🏻
Gotta coach them to that sense of accomplishment. You do it for them and that last mile isn’t as sweet. 🤙 thanks for documenting

Nice to see you and your boy enjoying time together 🙌🙌

Great video and relatable as I have a boy of similar age. Your AirBNB was in my neighborhood ... (and I was at 24hop ...weird! )
Love it. Thx! I know all the vibes you go through with him.
Nice work brothers! So good to see this. Man, I love bikes. You guys are a big part of my inspiration!
I don’t know anything about raising kids but I feel like you are crushing it Tyler😊
He gassed himself out riding those wheelies at the start 😂 it’s always easy to go too hard when you start because the stoke is high
I really enjoy all your videos. Thanks vegan cyclist
We loved having you out here to Discover the rides in Marana and Oro Valley!

Damn what a great video. The definition of Play Bikes
Keep playing, keep the joy, big love ❤
my man is BLESSED
Happy to see you in Tucson man! Great riding here!
Making me miss home! 😅sweerwater is sick!

I loved this one! I’m father too and my hard time is seeing my daughter doing hard things 😬 I want she grow up strong.
Cool vlog, looking forward to the rest!
I always hit like before I even watch your vids, they’re that good
This is going to be good!! Quality beats quantity, just finished re-watching your TLAP21 vlog on how to make good cycling vids, a great depiction of the creative process with the Level 1-4 MTB shots.
Welcome. We're in the Wide Nostrils era of VC.
Cool daddy, VC ❤! You'r doing it right!
AWESOME intro! Grabbing the camera, nice
Man...Man...i like your vídeos, dont stop making vídeos Go Go Go.
Another great video Tyler! Good work man!
Also don’t be embarrassed about playing with toys man! I play with my daughters ninja turtles still and I’m 39 you be you man!
I really admire the honest way you talk about your relation with your family. It takes a lot of courage to expose your feelings and doubts like that. It surely makes you a greater man, dad and husband. Kudos!
Being able to speak so vulnerably and matter-of-fact in front of your son is really admirable.
I can ride my mtb for 5 hours without worries but I can’t wheelie 2 meters! Your son is already a winner 💪

Your boy is doing great.
Great stuff Tyler but where's the water on your son's bike? Sweetwater Preserve is sweeeet and a lot of fun to ride.
It’s on my bike. I carried all the water and Tony had the food.

Dope, dope,dope dope video! 👍
the pure meaning of life❤
What does that patch on the nose do?
Awesome video!! Cant wait to do this with my son in the future!!
Love that ending 🤣
What a lucky kid. You're a great dad.
You get a goofy tan line from the nose strip?
Looking buff dude .
Still see him as that 5yo who won a triathlon. Where does the time go? -U10
PS - put my kids trailer jogger stroller up for sale last night and it was hard. why? Well because you know they don’t fit in anymore. how they grow.

Great video you guys!
Great insight and video.
i hope to experience that with my son 1 day
No hydration on a 30 mile ride in the desert?
We had a huge bag of snack and I carried his water.
At this time I’m regretting not having kids before 38… but I can do this shit with my son when I’m 50, right? 🤟🏻
Absolutely man, just stay healthy and active and you will be a great action dad!
what happened with the sea otter... did you not race?
I did, got 3rd! That video will drop soon.
@@TheVCAdventures What, that's SICK!! looking fwd to it!
Nah dude, play with your kids. I’ve played with my boys and their toys, dressed up like super heros, comic book store shopping, watching cartoons…
No Unbound this year Tyler?
All hail the algorithm!
Wait your only two years older than me
Don’t do too hard things with your boy. My dad did that and turned me off skiing and climbing that way.

dude what did you do to your nose> pro dad btw
Feel like that was the most talking your son’s done in a vlog. The kid never makes the edits besides doing wheelies for days or ripping motos.
Tyler, how are you so freaking muscular, what's up with that? I mean I get that you are on the sigma grindset but have you been lifting weights or something? 😄
He’s been lifting weights now!
More breath rights lol. All the time for me unfortunately
Having influencer dad must be tough enough for the kid!
Totally, a dad that can spend unlimited time with his son and take him on adventures must hard on him 🥸
@@TheVCAdventureschill bro, the whole video is about how a great dad you are I bet we all get the message and surely I do
BS … a big one. 😂😂😂

As a long time creator I'm sure Tyler is very aware of this aspect of the internet lol
100% he’s harder than any of his classmates.
Refreshing to see a creator being transparent and saying it as it is. No doubt kids are soft nowadays
Your own insecurities prompted this comment, because in this video all I see is a dad hyping up his son, expressing his concern that, compared to him and what he would want, his son may be soft, but then spends the rest of the film showing us how strong his son really is and how much he has learned. Can anyone describe how kids are soft? I always hear kids are “soft” what does that mean in the context of being a kid.
Your son isnt soft. Its good to not ignore pain?
Cacti not Cactices lol

I dunno dude this is pretty dope. It’s just a 13 year old kid riding a bike and having a great time, not exactly traumatic embarrassing stuff here.
