I am not surprised at all. I was worried about your safety while u were in India, but Nepal, i have heard lots of good stories , they are generally kind and honest, “guests equal gods “ to them. Nice necklace, good choice .
Haha... enjoy the peace at Lake Phewa and be mesmerised by those snow giants in the Land of Smiles! Yes, Nepali people is hospitable in general and tourists are very much appreciated. Glad you have a good time there. Pokhara's breeze seemed to be cleaner than in Kathmandu, usually ;) go to the forest!! villages!! mountains!! Yep, the local bus experience will be wilder than what you've just experienced on the bus :P haha, my eyes was so BIG even when I was asleep the last time i took a night local bus back to Kathmandu! ahem, i'll leave that for you to explore :P Those spices are achar! I thought you would knew them from India, and that little cracker is papad (or papadam), also typical in Dhal bhat. At the villages, the taste of lentils and vegetables are so unique at every village! Hope you will savour them for energy you need for your adventurous hike.
Many vloggers are starting to explore China now; it seems kind of trendy. You might consider it as your next destination. I love this Nepal episode though
Maaaaate! Another cracker episode. Find myself hanging out for your next adventure. The bus ride looked grueling, was hilarious watching the 2 woman in the seats opposite trying to juggle their coffees and not laugh as their heads bobbled like dice from a rear vision mirror on a 1970's Valiant Charger 😂 you continue to amaze me how you pick up the local lingo everywhere you go. Your happy go lucky and friendly personality is what endears you to the local people bro 😊
Just a friendly reminder David..we call “chiya” to tea not “chai”.and it would be more respectful if you say “hajurko” or “tapaiko” instead of “timro” when you are asking their name..Eg:hajurko/tapaiko nam k ho? Instead of Timro nam k ho? @22:17 that uncle almost got me died choking with a laughter when he say “ matcha pu cha reeyeeh” with that fake accent 😅😅😅.He got some swag for sure 😅enjoy your quality time in nepal or I say “Neifol” in that homie uncle’s accent 😅
Firstofall we don't eat beef brother it's illegal in nepal but far eastern peoples(rai, limbu, tamang etc mongolian people) eat beef secretly. And daal vaat is our national dish, momo is not it's a favourite dish. Love your videos, i know it's a past video but just fyi❤
"Kathmandu to Pokhara, the most difficult journey you'll experience in the whole world" has to be one of the most ridiculously false statements spoken in human history.
Man, you'r riding a Luxery Bus to Pokhara - we had old buses with narrow benches - no single seats - there would 4 Nepali people be sitting in a space for 2 for Europeans.... went there a number of times 70's/80's, never thought it was something spectacular! 🤪😆 - When you eat Dhal Bhat you pour the dhal over the rice and also mix some vegetables with rice when you eat it. The pickles are to spice it up! Dhal Bath is the most comon food for Napali and Nevari people, Momo is tibetan food!
