The VX2100 is an improvement over the VX1000 in almost every way; reliability, color accuracy, low light recording, better auto focus, etc. If you really want that authentic golden hue of the VX1000 then maybe you could justify the cost, but even that can easily be achieved in post.

The church looks way more bright on the 2100, almost as if the 1000 has more dynamic range. The 1000 has less contrast and soft golden haze out of the box. The only area where the 2100 dominates is in low light
the 2100 is just a lot better at capturing light, hence the churge is brighter and its better in low light situation, you can easily adjust for that in the software on hardware, the vx1000 just does not capture enough light.

Regarding the ND I dont remember, but yi dont think so, but if yes it was set the same on both camcorders.

Většinou ebay a VX2100 jsem kupoval dávno kolem 8k CZ a VX1000 sem ze tří polofunkčních složil dvě funkční, takže těžko určit cenu.
