ずっと独り身で良いと思ってたけど、結婚したいと思った37歳の今日。

後30年聴ける気がします。
いつみても何度みてもじんわり泣いてしまう、ほんとによい音と風景です。
日常っていいものだ。

I lost a friend today. Well I kind of saw it coming. We've become busier with our own personal lives and as time passed, so did our relationship. I tried so desperately to rekindle this relationship and go back to how it was before, but I knew how it was going to go. So instead of messaging him again and again, and being met with dry replies, disinterest, or him replying hours or days later, I picked myself up and stepped away. I punished myself for the past few months, thinking how I was unimportant to him, and that I valued him so much more than he valued me. But in the end, the bitterness and limerence will fade away. People do not stay permanently in our lives, but they leave scars and marks on us. Whether those marks were good or bad, it's up to you if you want to keep them, or let them heal.
If they don't serve you anymore, let them go.
But as always, this song has cheered me on and made me feel okay again. Thank you for making such a beautiful masterpiece. You don't know how much this song means to me
