"How's that going for you? Being Clever" "Splendid"
So glad this is back up!
This whole things fits so perfectly into Austen's satire and feminist message of women's roles.
***** You do realize, right, that "Fight Club" started out as literature before it was a movie? And it's about repression. That's Austen all over.
I would watch a whole movie of this!!!
I love this video! Have watched so many times. Wish the director, Janice Ian, would make a feature length movie!!
Absolutely brilliant! I'm a huge Austen fan, read many spin-offs, but this...by far blows the zombies right out of the water. I second (lost count at this point) rolling this short into a movie. Bravo!
When the one gals shoes go flying off...Hysterical!
Revisting this gem.
This is everything I've always wanted but never knew could be.
Well, it makes as much sense as them fighting zombies.
This is fantastic! I particularly lost it when they were dancing on the porch; too funny!
Thank you ladies. This is just what I needed today.
"No crying." Stops and looks at one girl until she looks down.
This is hilarious and brilliant. Great job.
You ladies have no idea how much you make my day every time I watch this. Seriously. GO LIZZIE!
This has to be one of the best things I've ever seen
This is brilliant beyond words. You have made me very happy. Now FILM THE REST OF IT!!! Please. :)
I want this. I'd watch the heck out of it.
I'll never stop wishing that this was a real movie
I'd watch the heck out of this.
Oh god the flying shoes!! LOL
This is the reason I come to TH-cam
That is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen... I feel like my life is complete having watched that.
Very nicely done. I, too, would be most gratified to behold the full spectacle promised by this most stirring of introductions.
God bless the perspicacity of the makers of this video!
This is actually perfect.
"The first rule of Fight Club is one never mentions Fight Club."
Just the Austinization of that line has me sold.
one of the most refreshing things iv seen on youtube in a while
This version is so much better then the other. The music really pops it out!
In 2022, we wouldn't know, because suddenly there's no sound at all.
@@tejaswoman holly crap ppl still use this?
This is what the internet and TH-cam were made for! Fantastic stuff!!
That was perfectly wretched! I loved it.
2:49 - I love how her shoes flew off! This is genius, ladies!
I hunger for this cinematic event with a most unseemly passion!
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I want more!
Fantastic!! Best use of red velvet cake in a film, ever.
Oh please, this is one Jane Austen book I'd love to see make it to the screen! :)
This is the greatest thing I've ever seen.
Fantastic!
Both Authors are great in there own realms of literature, but the Video Mixes the best of the two
Oh, I want to watch this as a whole movie. Now, please. :)
Absolutely brilliant. This is truly unique and entertaining. It mixes my wife and I's love for the works of Austen, and my obsession with Tyler Durden! Thank you for this wonderful project!
While eating lunch, with a mouth full of smoked turkey sandwich, I sat at my computer, cracking up. I have to admit, I instantly replayed the face/cake smash! So well put together, I loved it.
I love this!
Jane Austen would have LOVED this!!
This is exactly her sense of humor.
Well done, ladies.
This so needs to be made into a series.
When I saw this mentioned in a Wikipedia article, I was a bit apprehensive. I was expecting something dreadfully stupid. Instead I was treated to something witty and fun. Good job!
This channel has just earned itself a new subscriber.
Absolutely wonderful! Thank you! Give me more!

Oh my gosh!!! Please let there be more!
I like that it's Lizzie who starts it all. That's so perfect!
Having read Pride and Predjudice and Zombies and Mr Darcy, Vampire this year, I was excited to hear about this video. Absolutely loved it!
This is HILARIOUS. The acting is awesome. Especially the bit where she says "NO CRYING!" And the gangsta moves at the end. And "Is that your blood?" "Er, yes. Some of it." All awesome.
Such a great concept and excellently executed. Jane Austen needed an escape from propriety. Well done girls!
Completely hilarious! Love!
I must say, this is quite splendid.
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN.
I soooo wish someone would actually make this into a movie, it would be brilliant
This is the best thing I have ever seen.
As an Austenite of many years standing can I just say I loved this, absolutely brilliant. I'm sure Jane would have loved it too, she had a wicked sense of humour.
My professor actually showed this to us in our Jane Austen course. I am very impressed and I think that Miss Austen would have appreciated the humor in this video after getting over the initial shock of moving pictures.
Yeah, I need this movie made NOW.
This needs to be a real movie, like, right now!
I admit, this is one combination I'd love to see! Jane Austin and Fight Club in the same sentence! good job! now when can we see the feature film?! :D
Perfect. Utterly hilarious. Go Fanny!
The costumes may not be accurate, but the concept is pure genius! Well done!
I am officially in love with this idea.
... Although now I have to re-attempt to battle my way through her books. Damn.
Hahaha! This is beautiful! Best video I've seen in a long time.
This NEEDS to be a real movie!

A little factoid for those that still read. Fanny is Emily Card, daughter of author Orson Scott Card.
I sincerely hope there is going to be a full length version of this released.
