My hair began falling out big time following an extremely stressful time in my life. So, I researched the net & decided to experiment with the litttleextra coocoonion hair oil and a comb made of neem wood. The results truly worked. At present, my hair is long, dense, black hair which has grown down to my waist & cut off three times since I began using it. Easy and effective. Additionally, just as good is massaging the scalp - it promotes hair growth. You just must do this once a week. Before long, you'll see new hair starting to grow.
Thank you so much for sharing your hair care journey, @simidiwan! It's wonderful to hear that you've found a regimen that works for you. The littleextra Cocoonion hair oil and neem wood comb seem to have made a remarkable difference in promoting hair growth and overall hair health. We appreciate you sharing your experience, and it's a great tip to include scalp massages for stimulating hair growth. Your feedback is invaluable and may inspire others on their hair care journey. Wishing you continued success in maintaining your long, dense, and healthy hair!
The littelllextra cocoonioon oil contains rosemary, onion, coconut, and hibiscus, which are superfoods for promoting hair growth. Loved its texture. The smell is subtle and not overwhelming. Overall, a great product and it helped me reduce hair fall by over 85%.
I love this topic! My top essential oils are lavender, peppermint, tea tree oil, and rosemary. I use a couple of drops of lavender oil around my temples and neck to keep bugs off me while I’m outside running in the summer months. It also helps me with anxiety at night so I put a couple of drops on my pillow from time to time. I mix a few drops of tea tree oil into my body lotion to help with itchy skin. And sometimes use some of the others as a scalp massage pre-poo treatment depending on how I’m feeling! And I also like adding these oils to my diffuser. I’m going to try some of the others you mentioned. And btw, you look fantastic having a 7 month-old son! Wow!
*You can use olive oil to make your hair look good and feel healthy.* It is _no secret_ that heat styling makes it hard for you to grow new hair, but the oils found in *olive oil work as a protectant against those high temperatures* by creating a shield around natural keratin which _contains antioxidants, vitamin E, and oleic acid._ Olive Oil also has _anti-inflammatory properties which may help with treating dandruff too!_
Peppermint is great for getting rid of my headaches. I love essential oils. I have a grapefruit and coriander conditioner that I use on my hair from Jadebloom.
An old school friend said her mom always used rosemary and everytime she cut her hair in fall. Her hair would grow significantly in by the end of the school year!!
I went into menopause 3 years ago. My hair did not start thinning out until the 2nd year of menopause. I starting using essential oils 4 months ago & my hair is much thicker now. I use all the essential oils you mentioned except lemongrass oil. I also take hair supplements & drink more water now. Thanks so much for all of your hair tips & videos:-)
There is 1 essential on your list that I don't use because none of the beauty supply stores in my area have it & that Ylang Ylang Oil. I may have to order it from Amazon because I would like to use it in my hair care.
Thank you so much for all of the information. Right now I only use rosemary in my pre poo..water, Aloe Vera, Coconut, Vitamin E, Argan, & Rosemary. I'm going to share this with my sister.
I love essential oils for various needs and always looking forward more ways to appreciate them. You mentioned a few I never thought of using on my hair. Thank you so much 😇
My hair seems to like carrier oil - especially Sweet Almond Oil. 1000 subscribers to go to reach your goal. I recently bought several of your products which brought me to your channel. I love your headbands!!!
I been using Sweet Almond oil with shea butter hair oil/ peppermint oil and a tad bit of glycerin in my mix, my hair is LOVING me so much, I noticed a little more growth and my hair feels more moisturized on a daily. Grapeseed oil is the business for me too.
Am big on essential oils. Been using them for my hair, skin and diffuser. I own eight of the nine you listed and I usually leave the oil in my hair mixed with a carrier oil. Love your videos and thanks for sharing
Thanks for this video. It couldn't have come at a better time. I will literally be shopping for my hair products tomorrow. BTW... I'm a fan! Straight from Jamaica.
Mixing black Jamaican castor oil, tea tree oil, and rosemary oil can have several benefits for hair growth! Stimulated Hair Follicles: Black Jamaican castor oil contains ricinoleic acid, which helps increase blood flow to the scalp and stimulates hair follicles. Antifungal Properties: Tea tree oil has antifungal properties that can help maintain a healthy scalp, preventing dandruff and potential hair loss due to scalp issues. Hair Strength: Rosemary oil is known for its ability to strengthen hair, reduce hair thinning, and promote thicker hair. When combined, these oils can create a powerful blend that supports hair growth, strengthens the hair, and maintains a healthy scalp. However, remember to use them in moderation and perform a patch test to ensure you don't have any adverse reactions. Happy hair care journey! 🌿💁♀️
I really enjoyed this video and it came at a really good time! My hair falls out in one particular spot. I literally have a round hole in my hair where it fell out. My hair grows around the spot. Also, when I’m stressed I will pick at the spot which makes it worse! So I will definitely try some of the essential oils! Thank you for the video!!!
Great information. I use a few drops of tea tree, peppermint, lavender, and rosemary oils as part of my deep conditioning routine. I also add them to my black soap shampoo mix.

I love essential oils, own and have been using nine out of the 10 you mentioned, along with a few others. The only one I do not have, and always am the lookout for at TJMAXX, is cedarwood essential oil. I use oils in my prepoos, deep conditioners, shampoos and oil mixes, combined with carrier oils. You did a great job in giving short descriptions and benefits of each oil. Thank you!
Thank you soooo much! I love lavender oil and peppermint oil (I was alternating these oils when doing rice water) .. I’m going to try the lavender oil with my shampoo to see how that works especially for my edges.. luv this video 💕💕
Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. I have been using Tea Tree and Peppermint oil for years. Rosemary and lavender set my and my daughter's scalp on 🔥. Clary Sage is awesome for low porosity hair, which I would love to try in a diy. Ylang Ylang is another essential oil that I may try in place of Jojoba oil (wax).
Hello great video. Is Aloe Vera gel good for low porosity hair. If so how would I use? as a leave in , or wash out conditioner. can you include oil in aloe vera. Thanks
Hi! Just learning about essential oils for to use in my hair. Do you put all these oils in an applicator bottle/bottle and then put the mixture in the shampoo bottle since you mentioned that it should be washed out? Thanks and love this topic! 🙂
Yes it does, I received mine last week and I was not happy, the smell to ME is of old cooking oil. I had to mixed it with my sweet almond/peppermint oil to make it smell sorta okay. I bought it because they claimed that it was sweet in smell, I beg to differ, but everyone's smell senses is different. On wash day there was still a hint YY smell in my hair :(, even my bonnet smelled bad, I threw it away and went bought another one. I had to do a AV rinse twice to get that smell out of my hair.
