I am from the sunni background but I agree I am going to buy a book and the 12 imams look the truth isn't found in sectarianism the truth is found in piety and goodness and eman like the Quran says.. Islam is Islam it isn't sunnism or shiaism Islam is what the Quran says Islam is.. no if and or buts..we have to look past our divisions and focus on the Quran and piety and worship etc and purify our hearts from hatred envy pride etc ... If our shia brothers really followed the imams they would be pious and tolerant like them and if the sunnis really loved ahlul bayt they would be understanding to the ones in love them the 12 descendants of his household.. please unite oh ummah of Muhammad for the sake of truth

Does anyone know where i can get authentic sunni information about the 12 imams? All their biographies seem to be written by shia.

Ali happened to stay behind the Prophet (ﷺ) and (did not join him) during the battle of Khaibar for he was having eye trouble. Then he said, "How could I remain behind Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" So `Ali set out following the Prophet (ﷺ) , When it was the eve of the day in the morning of which Allah helped (the Muslims) to conquer it, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "I will give the flag (to a man), or tomorrow a man whom Allah and His Apostle love will take the flag," or said, "A man who loves Allah and His Apostle; and Allah will grant victory under his leadership." Suddenly came `Ali whom we did not expect. The people said, "This is `Ali." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) gave him the flag and Allah granted victory under his leadership.

Um...how do we love their enemies 🙄 the twelvers seem to be their enemies due to their exaggerations, for eg., saying that Fatimah bint Muhamad Rasulullah, the queen of paradise, would die in anger over a piece of land. Astaghfirullah. My name is also Fatimah bint Muhamad, I’m not even on my death bed yet, but I’ve lived a life you can’t imagine, yet I’m capable of forgiving my perpetrators. I would never die angry if I have the Akhirah to look forward to, I’d die happy! So would many other good Muslims! So imagine accusing the Queen of Paradise of dying in a state of anger and vengeance. That is not befitting of her status as the Queen of Paradise. And the Imamis say they love her?? Very strange indeed.
@@fatoumfatoumeh that’s your misunderstanding about Syeda Fatimah AS. You think she voiced her harsh opinions to fulfill her personal ego. That is unbelievable. She had the moral duty after the death of her father to show the real faces of the leaders of the Ummah.

Despite her protests, Syeda Fatima’s husband fought two wars during his caliphate with the Sahaba of the time and her son was slaughtered on the plain s of Kerbala.

This the fact that no one can deny, now it's up to Sunnis whether they want to think that this was just petty angry and vengeance like you have said or they want to think critically about the history of Islam and realise that this great Lady would only get angry for the sake of Allah
