Gr8 review. I like your style and frankness. The maple neck is a bold look but so nice if you can rock it. It reminds me of the features on that beautiful Tele that Prince played for the Rock and Roll hall of fame

Those are great Strat tones! That's the kind of "body" I like to hear rather than the thin, piercing tones of a lot of Strats.

7:53 Knopfler mention :) Thank you for a great review, the out of phase tempts one to launch into a Sultans solo. Thank you for the review, it sounds great (I got the HSS in Olympic White with tortoise pick guard.) Did you finally get a Strat?

How close is the coil split sound to the original single coil ?

Can you get these with a rosewood fretboard (but still with the roasted pine body)?

Will this ever come out in a left hand version?

Would the soft pinewood cause a long-term consequence?

Go to Home Depot, buy some pine lumber (the cheapest and most abundant wood in America) and a few basic hand tools. Make a body, roast it. Buy official fender electronics, hardware and neck. Finish the body, assemble the guitar. Congratulations, you just saved yourself $1,000.00 and had fun while doing it.

Lol I’ll do you one better, grow the tree, manufacture the electronic yourself and create the tools. It’ll take 3 decades and you’ll have fun while doing it and save even more money.
