In this video i have shared one of the himachali dham recipe...black channe ka khatta/mahni...Dish is sweet and tangy in taste....so do try it to enjoy the flavours of himachali cuisine...

Ingredients:
Black channa-200 gm
besan-2tbsp
bayleaf-1
whole red chilli-2
jaggery-40 gm or as per taste
salt as per taste.
methi dana-1/4 tsp
hing-pinch off
Black cardamon powder-1/2 tsp
cloves -4
dal chinni powder-1/4 tsp
jeera-1tsp
coriander powder-1tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
saunf-1tsp
dry mango pieces-7-8(optional)
Tamarind water-1/4 cup
mustard oil-1 full ladle.

Very nice . Hum kal dhyunsar mahadev Talmera distt. Una H.p. darshan k liye gye thei. Waha bhandare me tha ye mahani taste kiya .itna tasty tha ki pet bhar gya but dil nhi . Meri dono Chhoti daughters ne b bde chaav se khaya aur aaj demand kr rhi thi ki fir se khaana hai so utube pe search kr k bna rhe hai. Makdi to nhi hai tamarind se hi bna lenge. thank u for sharing racipie. I love kangri dhaam. But kya kre kangra side koi relative Ya freind nhi hai jinke yaha shadi ya koi aur function attend kr ske.
