Classic, time-less, nostalgic...that is the grace and legacy of the living legend gash mahmoud ahmed. Yeteztaw negus for ever and ever..🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹 (from an Eritrean music enthusiast)
I was a child growing up in Eritrea, when this song came out. Therefore, I grew up listening to this song. STILL, IT SOUNDS AS BEAUTIFUL AS IT WAS THEN,,, GREAT SINGER! GREAT BAND! GREAT BEAT! GREAT MUSIC! GREAT MEMORY!!!! Mahmoud, Thanks for the LIFETIME JOY!
no wonder Mahmoud is called the king of TZTA. Nobody knows who sang TZTA for the first time where or when but Mahmoud is obviously in love with it and made the whole nation love TZTA more by singing five or six versions of it in the past 50 or more years. BTW TZTA is Ethiopia's unofficial national anthem
when I hear your song My eyes will be filled with something that blurs my vision: My soul goes to somewhere where she can get peace. your songs are more than a song. Mohamoud Ahmed you are legend Ethiopian.
Typically non speakers of Amharic tend to be a little faster when playing the saxophone; however, this guy was on point. I did not realize he was not habesha until I actually saw the video. Great job to whomever it is playing that saxophone. This was not an easy note to play because there so much emotion tied to it.
Reading "Cutting for Stone" and came across a lovely description about Tizita and had to hear it for myself.....this is a beautiful version and very heartfelt.
Thank you sooo much the great Badubes Band..God bless you guys.we will conpenset you in the future when our bloved country become rich country..really really you are people of respect..not onley Ethiopia but the hole Africa thanks you so much. The Saxphonist is so Amazing with great legend Mahmoud Ahmud !
There are so many music you enjoy them for day, a wk and sometimes for year, but music like this can be alive for generation, I was a very young kid when originally this music come out after so many years I still enjoy the music actually it takes me deferent world.
They say music transcends cultures, traditions and language. I wonder if this unique genre of music is as powerful to others as it is to Ethiopians. Every Ethiopian I know, in the right mind set, will be spirited away when listening to the melodies of Tizita.
