Dude! I stumbled across this pedal online this morning and I was heading to my local music store to get it...then I thought I'd see if someone had reviewed it...and found your EXCELLENT video; sold...can't get in my car fast enough!!!

This is great! I watched this before buying the pedal, and focused on the second half to hear the effects available... After I got the pedal, I was consulting the owners manual and still feeling pretty lost.... So I came back and watched the FIRST half of the video to understand how to actually USE my new purchase! Love the pedal, and love this helpful review! Thanks for posting!

Great review. I got mine 2 days ago and for me the A/B/C... feature makes it so easy to switch sounds. No more worrying about which button to press!! The sounds are super-clean and very usable. The editing is easy as well. I love it.

Great description and tutorial for this pedal. There’s so much available in that little box, it can be a bit overwhelming, especially to noobs like myself. Thank you for taking the time to go through some of these settings and explaining the basics of getting the most out of this crazy valuable piece of equipment. I’ve been using the default settings mostly, but this vid has inspired me to really dig into it 💪🏾

I've been wanting this bass pedal for a little while, but read online that it takes some time to learn how to program. Now that I have heard the effects I'm sure it's worth it!!! It looks simple enough, and looks like tons of fun! Can't wait till I get mine!!!

Great Video.. I used to have a B2 ... but recently I have had a Fission Multi Chord.. Big Muff and Bass Booster.. and bought a Boss Flanger... then I saw this video.. and immediately bought this pedal and sold the boss.. maybe sell the others also.. as this pedal seems to do most of what I need..cheers

You went and made me buy one Dan.. And it is fantastic from a covers band point of view. Set up sounds for a set list, assign them a, b, c etc and it's just a case of play song, hit pedal, play next song, hit pedal.. Much easier than my old Boss ME20-b (which replaced a board of EHX pedals) as there's no playing Tap dance to move through Banks of patches. Solid little unit too.

    Sweet little box....
I am however interested in the Amp Simulators. Wish you had done a demo of them but my guess is that it's not that accurate of a simulator. That's cool though.....for the price/features it's a good buy.

I'm sold. I've been thinking about getting a multi-effects pedal for a while, but some seem pretty gimmicky and cheap, and others cost a little more than I'd like to spend. This MS-60B is basically everything I think I'd want in a pedal, and at a decent price. I think the only thing I'm hesitant about is the battery life. I'd much rather have a standard 9V connection, but it could very well be a minor thing. Either way, thanks a ton for the review.

    • @lawrencegenereux8567
      @lawrencegenereux8567 8 ปีที่แล้ว

WOOT:. Battery life has not been an issue for me. Actually, AA cells provide a lot more current than 9 volt batteries can, and since this pedal has a lot of processing power, AA cells will last longer than 9 volt batteries would. Also, I use rechargeable AA NiMH cells; they are much cheaper in the long run than alkaline cells, and a set will get you through a gig with no issues. Changing the AA"s is extremely easy, so keeping a few sets fully charged will see you through the busiest playing schedule. Of course, you could always power the pedal with a decent 9 volt power supply (I do this at home). BTW, this is a great pedal, especially if you like to create your own presets. The number of adjustable settings within each effect is amazing. This pedal is worth A LOT more than $100.

I've thinking about switching my Boss ME50B (which I love, btw) for a MS60B just for those small gigs where there's no space in the stage for all the gear. 95% of the time my bass signal is bypassed. I use a little bit of overdrive in a couple of songs a some chorus and reverb in the middle part of another one. I don't need that bunch of fx , but for that price I think that this pedal will make the work I have for it (save space in a small stage).

Simple question, I am currently using a few Boss pedals in this order. Radial Pro DI box, TU3 Tuner, CS3 Compression, GEB7 EQ and a CEB3 Chorus pedal. I have ordered this Zoom pedal and really enjoyed the video. Would you place this pedal after the tuner or at the end and use more as a separate box. I use an Ashdown app but interested in the AMP sims and a few of the effects like Trem, Synth, etc,. Thanks.

Thanks for the overview, Dan. My current needs are twofold right now for my cover band, as I'm in need of a multi-effects pedal for guitar as well. Thinking about this pedal for when I play bass but also interested in the MS-100BT for guitar. Are the effects bass-specific here or could I get away with a single MS100-BT on bass as well? Thanks in advance.

Hello, how does this deal with switching to bypass if i want to use just as a stomp box but have programmed a few effects in a patch? i am contemplating one of these for headphone practice and live use to cut down on pedal board being my distortion just broke n will intend on using this in between an ashdown octave pedal and ashdown chorus with an ashdown mag 300 (lots of love for ashdown XD) or can i switch a few effects off at one if for example i want to use a compressor constantly and switch off 2 different distortions at once

then for the next song i will have to bend down, push button for the next effect that i will use for the next song?
also, can you set how you want your "bypass tone" to be? does this make sense? sorry! thanks!

    • @ZoomcorpUK

Hi There, and apologies for slow reply, slight Holiday. Probably the best way to set the unit would be on a cycle of patches, these you can set up exactly as you want, then you can have essentially a no effect preset and cycle through fully effected to none effected patches, does that make sense?
