Cool bike and video. I remember back when learning on my 250 gama. The importance of setting up for the pass. I couldn't just pull out and wack the throttle open. It would take to long,
38 hp just isn't going to get it done in a timely manner.
I intentionally had to hang back, and build up my speed while still coming up from behind the vehicle. When I actually pulled out to pass? I would have had 20- 30kmh of speed built up over the vehicle I was over taking. For me these bikes were all about learning how to carry momentum

Sounds like motors in real good shape! I really want one of these but they are so hard to come by in NZ now. Enjoy it, and definitely maintain and keep it, its an appreciating treasure!!!
Yeah there were a few around the start of last year when I got mine, a few damages to the body but mechanically shes mint!. Thanks for watching

beautiful sound, i was gonna save up for an rc390 or r3 for my first bike but i like working on things and this sound cannot be beat, im sold on this amazing bike......
Yeah I was in the same boat, I had a DRZ400 as my first but it was to tall and intimidating so I was looking at R3s and Ninja 400s. I found the MC22 and luckily was able to get one, It's an awesome bike if you can find one haha. Look out for the other bikes like it from Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawasaki, they might be a bit harder to find but you may get lucky. 👌

This is a beautiful bike. Is it too advanced/ powerful/ hard to ride for a beginner bike. As much as i love the mc22. Abs really is something starters could do with
It was my first bike and it was great, has pretty much no power down low so if you gave it full throttle not much would happen haha. ABS is very good to have, but I wouldn't say it's necessary. Just make sure to practice progressive braking and whatnot to see what your bike can do.
Really the only bad thing about recommending these bikes to beginners is that they are kind of rare, so we don't need them crashed beyond the point of repair. Also, you better be a good mechanic beforehand, or buy one that is sorted, these things are old and will need maintenance. Other than that, its good preparation on what to expect from a 600 or 1000cc sport bike, just scale the power up 3-5x.

No, not if you time it right. You can do clutchless shifting at most RPM.
@@nz-mc2290 just close the throttle for a bit and pull the shifter up. My motorcycle is single cylinder but short stroked, it just want to rev up high. I do clutchless shifting on daily basis. Up and down.
With my track session , I back off the throttle briefly & then change under minimum load , then reapply the throttle on the Yamaha FZR 250 but it works best at 7,000 RPM or above .

Greetings. On my mc19, the compression is coming to an end, now the compression is from 8 to 9 atmospheres. Tell the guys where you can buy a piston group, rings and more. I saw that they sell Aliexpress on the Chinese site, I understand that this is not Japan, but even so, someone may have experience, for what mileage such spare parts are enough. Thank you.
You could try Xcite bikes which is based in Australia. They may have parts for the MC19 or know where to get them.

The Stainless steel one from Xcitebikes. Looks nice (stock looking) and good quality.

@@lucaschristo787 I have the GoPro app on my phone so I bring up the image and put my phone on my dash, I can then tuck in and see how it looks

@@lucaschristo787 Yeah I've wrapped it between two pieces of foam and put it tightly in my backpack, you can watch Schaaf's video on how to set up the mic
